No Internet

Posted Jun 23, 2014
They charge $9 US dolllars per device per day for Internet. However, they do not have enough codes. I was their for two days and they only had Internet codes for 7 days for about 900 pesos.

Location is perfect!

Posted May 31, 2014
The hotel is right in the middle of the tourist area which, depending on what you're there for, is great or annoying. The beach area is nice and relaxing but the nearby restaurants are what you'd expect of a tourist area. The hotel staff is very accommodating and full of awesome recommendations on where to visit and eat. El presidio downtown is amazing. Great atmosphere and food. We thought this hotel was a perfect pick for beach access and proximity to the downtown area. We stayed in a suite on the 8th floor. Tons of room and a great sunset vantage point every night.

Beautiful location on a great stretch of beach

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Grounds, beach, pool -everything important.
Cons: The internet access is very spotty and costs $9 a day. They need to either improve the speed or stop charging for this.
Location: It is a great location in the hotel zone. Across the street is a good place to get good coffee, Ricos and a wonderful massage place across from Mary's
We spent three nights in el Centro Historico and then moved to the Inn at Mazatlan for 4 nights. We stayed in a junior suite and were very pleased with it overall. The grounds are beautiful, the pools are wonderful, there is plenty of room with abundant lounge chairs and umbrellas, though you can't get the ones directly in front of the ocean unless you get up very early. This is largely a timeshare property, so you will get a welcome at the beginning with an offer for a free breakfast but we said we weren't interested and that was that. No high pressure at all. Would definitely go back to this place.

The Inn

We liked the location because of local restaurants and the Inn's proximity to the beach.

Home away from home.

Pros: The location in the middle of many great restaurants. Cleanliness, Pools, poolside, happy hours, beach access, nice long time employees, safety,
Cons: I am upset we were not able to use our timeshare and hope they haven't cut back on the #of units they allow for timeshares. We ended up renting.
Location: Across the street is Mary's, FISH, ice cream and tons of good restaurants. ask the doorman. Parasailing! sunset cruises, fishing, siteseeing in town
We've been here several times and are timeshare owners here. But they did not have a timeshare unit available for us in Feb because we tried to reserve the time too late, so be warned. They may have oversold the timeshares for what they have available during busy times. The grounds were immaculate as always. The staff was friendly and so helpful. I think service is quicker this year. They have new TV's and free WiFi outside the restaurant now. Of the three rooms our group had, two of the rooms had improved mattresses. Rumor has it that they are replacing couches next year. I love having the city on one side of the resort and the beach on the other side. The view from almost all of the units are of the ocean which is what it is all about. I felt totally safe and the staff always are looking out for you. It did get very, very busy on the weekend with locals, now that the road to Durango is finished. But plenty of room for everyone.

First time in Mazatlán - WOW

Posted Feb 13, 2014
Pros: Peaceful and clean. Wait staff are great. Reception area should take lessons.
Cons: Be polite and friendly to visitors.
Location: Lots of places to shop, eat and entertain. Evenings were filled with places to go for music, entertainment , food and drink. Safe environment.
We truly enjoyed the hotel. It was wonderful. The reception staff is not real polite or courteous, rather unfriendly. But all in all it was a great place. Felt safe. Price was very reasonable. I tried to extend out stay at the front desk - it was a disaster. Price was outrageous. The next day I called Expedia and had an excellent rate for extended stay and it was handled within a matter of minutes, The beaches were wonderful. The other guests were fabulous. We meant so many wonderful people. We hope to see them all again in 2015. Thanks Expedia.

It's in Condo Tourist Land

Posted Jan 22, 2014
Pros: It's on the beach.
Cons: There were no room safes. The wifi was very intermittent.
Location: Walk to the beach and go left. The farther you get away from Senor Frog's the closer you get to Mexico.
An slightly older hotel with OK rooms. It is right on the beach. The prices for food and drink were good. The people here were mostly 60+ so it's not a party place. The staff were very helpful and good.

Beautiful Experience

The Inn at Mazlan is a beautiful property with clean comfortable rooms. The Elite Hotel upgrade to suite makes the experience even more of a delight. The housekeeping staff go Above and beyond. Great customer service Front Desk to restaurant.
