Close to Malecon and sights.

Posted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay in this authentic hotel. It is close to the Malecon and in the historic district. If the receptionist was present, she was very pleasant and helpful with calling taxi's etc. However, it was sometimes hard to find personel. We did not have any wash cloths the entire stay. The neighbors were loud (tv and snoring!). We would return in the future.

Great hotel

Posted Jul 31, 2012
The hotel's location in the middle of the old city was an excellent one because it was close to the things that interest us. All were within easy walking distance. The room was furnished with antiques that gave the room a colonial feel and a distinctive quality. Our room was spacious and light and it was kept very clean. The next time we are in Mazatlan we plan to stay at the Hotel Meville.

Historic charm

I enjoyed this hotel very much. It was a little bit away from the tourist crowds and I prefered that. Staff was friendly, no hidden fees, they even offered to give us a late check out without an extra charge. I will stay here again., Jeff Y.

Great space

Posted Mar 7, 2012
Pros: location, ambience
Cons: noise late at night around the hotel at weekends
Location: central and convenient to everything we wanted
The hotel is placed in the centre of the Historical area so wonderfully convenient to walk to everything. It is not so much a hotel, as suites with some cooking facilities and a sitting area inside the suite, and room to sit at a table outside amongst the exotic plants. There was no room cleaning service during the three days of our visit, and as we were only there for three days we did not inquire as to when sheet changes etc. would occur. It is more like a self catering experience. The couples we met who were renting for several months had been going back year after year and just loved it. The staff we met were wonderful, helpful and extremely friendly. Should I want to stay in Mazatlan again I would definitely stay there.
