Only one thing that could have been better .. two digital thermostats in unit, neither was working. Weather was perfect, but, one has to wonder how well or if the A/C could keep up if needed.

The restaurant staff were topnotch. The manager and check in not so much. We had one simple request not the first floor as that is more suspectable to bugs. Front desk assured us since there were no other options available that they would do an extra close inspection. At 4:15 pm when the room was ready we walked in and within 20 seconds a huge cockroach scampered by. I took a picture and brought it to the front desk. The manager said well we are a tropical destination. That should be expected. 28 years coming to Mazatlan, this was the second cockroach we have seen. The first was in Torres as well. They moved us to a higher floor which was not available before. I guess I do not believe they told the truth to begin with. Later that night they sprayed what maintenance called diesel fuel throughout the entire property causing a white stinky cloud that lasted 20 minutes. I really hate to complain as so much of our stay was enjoyable. I just think they were not honest as the hotel seemed only half full In the future it would have been much better just to put us off the ground floor. Just a suggestion.

Thank you for your comments. We are actually 90-100% booked and the front desk would have had to have rearrange reservations in order to move you. We do apologize about the bugs. We do everything we can to keep them out of the units. I'm not sure if you requested a higher floor at time of booking. We can't guarantee room requests but if the note is there and the reservations around you all fit into place then they'll do their best to accommodate it. In any case--thank you for the feedback. We're glad otherwise you had a wonderful time and we do thank you for staying with us,

I love this hotel, installations, location, clean. My only part I did not like is the restaurant. I ordered shrimp coctel and they served me a glass with some cook shrimps with lettuce base. I am from Sinaloa and they don't make coctels like that one. By being a place that received a lot of tourism, I would think that the restaurant should serve the traditional Mazatlan food and not United states food. For the rest, I love Torres Mazatlan.

The restaurant was mediocre, the room smelled moldy (though it was clean). The staff was helpful and ready to assist. The main problem is that we stayed here after a week at Pueblo Bontito Mazatlan, and Torres paled in comparison.

Positive; Nice property. Good location. Excellent staff. Good food and two happy hours. Negative: rooms need updating. Could not close and lock patio door. TV in main living area went in and out. Not the resorts fault but the week of August 8 is not a good time to visit this resort. It was extremely busy. Over 150 children were on site per the check in desk.

This is a very safe property. All staff members are very alert and attentive to specific needs. The Kids Club is great and the staff there welcoming! We had a super time and will be returning next year!

The comforts of home on the beach
From the gate in to the gate out you feel at home and are extremely cared for in all aspects. Waiters are phenomenal and always remember you, some entertain as serving. Food is excellent and you can pretty much get anything your style, concierge and pool games well orchestrated. We alway dread leaving the comforts of this lovely facility. Check in and out very easy. All staff including grounds keepers always acknowledge you with smiles even under their masks. Very clean and sanitary. Lots of space to park yourself either by the pool or off to the side. Sunsets are stunning.
