Bad Weather Stay

I attended a church training event and the weather was predicted to be bad. The training started early in the morning. I had booked online and the checkin was a little slow, however the 10% discount at a local rib crib was worth the wait. The room was very comfortable and clean. This hotel is new and I was disappointed with the sound proofing of the rooms. I could hear everything in the next room and bathroom. I would recommend this hotel for adults.

The carpet needed some cleaning/vacuuming/shampooing. It was dusty; the bottom of my socks got really dark fast and I wasn't even wearing a white sock. And what's up with the blinds? You can't close them all the way which sucks waking up early because of the sun. Otherwise, the room was clean enough and the bed was comfy.

Poor Management Added Unneeded Stress to My Trip

As an IHG Reward member who travels extensively for work, I was extremely displeased with my stay during this trip. Upon arrival we attempted to check in early, only to be told that we couldn't because they weren't sure they had a room for us (although we'd made reservations a week before), meaning we could not drop off equipment that we needed out of the truck. Upon our return, they informed us that they did not have a double room, but would put us in two separate queen rooms. After requesting they be in close proximity, they placed us on opposite ends of the third floor. After lugging a ton of equipment down the hall to my room, my room key didn't work. I contacted the front desk from my friend's room, received a rude response from the front desk manager, and was informed that I had been given the only room in the hotel that the key reader didn't work. Needless to say, throughout the duration of the stay I had to request admission to my room and wait for a manager to let me into my room. One hotel employee attempted to change my room on day two of my stay, but was informed that the rooms were already booked for the managers family. Hotel lacked maintenance staff and only provided housekeeping once every three days. One front desk worker was helpful and extremely apologetic, however the general management of this property was extremely poor, I will not recommend this property to any of my friends who travel here for recreation or work.

We booked two nights and on the second night they checked us out and gave our room to someone else while we were there. I called about this and she was supposed to fix it but again someone opened our door and told us they gave them our room.. Again I called and she was supposed to call back and never did this happened twice within one hour..

Very nice pet friendly hotel, only problem was it was hard to see the sign from the highway. Clean, modern rooms.
