Cons: put a night light in the bath room. beds could be a little softer but they were ok.
this was a nice place, out of the way and off the main street. everything was clean and in good shape.

Excellent hotelPosted Oct 21, 2013
Great surprise. Very large room. Updated decor and extremely clean. Just wish they had a larger tv for the size of room. Will definitely stay there again. Hidden treasure

Great StayPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was outstanding and incredibly helpful. I was moving my mother from iowa to Texas in a U Haul. We can in really late and incredibly tired. The staff bent over backwards to make sure our stay and our trip was the best they could make it. My only complaint - you can't find the hotel! It is hidden behind the Lowes. They need to put up a big sign or something.

PeacefulPosted Aug 5, 2013
Cons: need a pool
Location: Located behind the Lowes building. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance.
Our stay at the Oak Tree Inn was very peaceful. The staff and facilities were very good. All they lacked was a pool, and I would have rated them excellent.

Our stay was a quick one. The only things I didn't like was extremely small bath towels and the bathroom sink was in the main room. The bath soap was also very small. Overall it was clean and comfortable. Just need to upgrade the amenities to the 21century. Not complaining just sed to better.

Home away from home getaway...Posted Jul 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was my second stay and it is safe to say it will be my number one pick from now on. Price wise this hotel is the best available in Mcalester area. (only a few dollars more than the shabbier hotels). But in all honesty the hotel is outstanding. Very clean. Staff is WONDERFUL! I wish they would have a pool but they do have a tv lounge area that is neat and other amenities I havent had the chance in trying. Location is close to everything but located behind lowes going down a hill so you don't even hear the highway that is just up the hill. Also for breakfast they give you a comp coupon to take to the dennys up the hill for a make your own breakfast combo. I had to leave early but I was able to call Dennys and put it in to go and they had it ready and waiting for me. Also the Dennys is 24/7 so you can sleep in late and not worry about a (whats left over) breakfast. I am very happy with my stays here.

Quiet oasis in the midst of downtown...Posted Jun 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was concerned about noise being so close to the highway. However you would think you were in the middle of nowhere so quiet and calm. You also get a wonderful feeling of security. I had pizza delivered and the front desk called me to tell me it was here and asked me if I wanted the delivery guy to bring it to my door. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I liked the back patio with oversized rockers to sit and talk.
