“Nice Experience!”

Was visiting McAllen on a family matter and needed a good clean comfortable place at a reasonable cost. Other hotels nearby were almost twice the price. This hotel was well worth the cost--and breakfast was included!

“McAllen”

“The place to stay while visiting McAllen”

“Love the Decor!”

Our king suite was very clean, sparkling, & modern. With a soothing cool color scheme, it was perfect for the blazing hot valley weather in July. A/C was icy cold also, another must for McAllen. We loved the little halogen reading spotlights on either side of the headboard & the IPod clock radio. Sure wish we had that same size shower stall at home! Only criticism: the room reminded us of a cruise ship cabin - a little TOO efficient use of a small space. I'd never stay there with kids, they'd drive you nuts in such close quarters.

Area recommendations

Be sure to check out the great variety of restaurants - ethnic, gourmet, funky, healthy, etc. Like a much larger city. Also, there is a great outlet mall right down the freeway in Mercedes.

“Very nice stay.”

Nice hotel with very good service and well located. It is very convenient for a family with kids because the rooms are big. Rooms are very clean. The only issue was with the air conditioner (the temperature sensor is not working properly because some times it is very cold but if you move up the temperature it gets kind of hot). But so far we had a very nice stay. Accademy store is very close.

“Excellent choice”

We staid last month, my husband, my daughter (5 months old),my mother in law, and I, and it was perfect, because we use the king bed and my mother in law the sofa bed, unless i know neither other hotel in mcallen have this caracteristic, and it so comfortable for all of us. The decoration is very chic and modern.

“More tha you expect”

Springhill Suites Marriott McAllen it is a new, clean and with great rooms for the Family. My childrens love the indoor pool. The only thing is that the curtains allows the morning light. So if you're a vampire like me, you better have a sleep mask. Definitely my McAllen's hotel choice.
