I went to Mecca during Ramadan and it was very crowded. The hotel was under a strong pressure but they made it. I recommend this place for people who want something very close to Al-haram with a reasonable price.

Average Hotel

Service has an issue at this hotel. I booked a king size bed and they gave me twin beds. When I came to the reception again, the staff were rude and told me I have no option but to ask room service to merge the beds. Two calls and no one shows up to merge the bed. Internet was included in the rate but out of two days I stayed there, I only got half a day of internet. GSM is weak in the room and no 3G signal is available. Room service doesn't answer their phone at some times during the day.

I think this is one of the best hotels in Mecca If any one needs a five star hotel just a few steps from Al Masjed Al haram this should be your first choice

Cons: Addition of a Spa + Gym
Location: Very close to the Haram and shopping facilities. not really much to eat other than western foods.
Pros: Close to the Haram Excellent rooms Great facilities (Tea Room) Excellent food Friendly Staff (especially concierge!) Cons: Pillows Room cleanliness could be slightly better

Good hotel

Posted May 24, 2015
Pros: customer service
Cons: Beds.
Location: Easy to get to the haram once you get used to it.
Its a good hotel, it takes a little to get used to first but all in all it was fine. Getting room service/housekeeping can take a while, however the service was good. If you have joined rooms be careful as some rooms do not have the same features as others - some mattresses were very cheap and not the high standard which is promised.

Excellent Hotel

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Restaurant
Cons: room separators to minimize voice from other rooms.
I suggest Mvenpick hotel while staying at Maccah as it very near to the Haram and it has an excellent prayer room that s considered within the haram.

It was a nice stay, the only problem for a quad room they used to give two bath towels only for four people.
