“Not Happy, and I did not get what I paid for.”
The location was bad. 52mil each way for the taxi to and from the airport. I met with a few different local people in Medellin and they all said how this hotel is too far from anything. I wanted to check out for a night and return the next night. The clerk at the front desk on that night DID NOT KNOW HOW TO CHECK ME OUT!!! Are you kidding me? I ended up paying for a night I was not there when I flew to Bogota for one night. Because he said it is best to just keep the room. They had my bags stored in a closet while I was gone. The room was vacant. I am working with the manager currently to get that reimbursed to me. The breakfast is terrible, the restaurants are not good and very expensive. There was never a soul in the bar, in the club, or in the pool. The wi-fi was free. However to use the business computers, you have to buy minutes for internet use. The television was old and small. The charge to use the phone from the room was astronomical. I paid over an extreme amount for phone calls. People told me it was cheap to use the phone. I called Barranquilla, Bogota, and Local cell phones in Medellin, and I had no extended or long calls. Never did I call outside the country. I did not get what I paid for.
