Pros: Large room, very comfortable bed.
Cons: The directions from the main desk to my room were unclear. Better signage would help.
Location: There is nothing of interest to me near by. There are fast food restaurants and markets near by.
Yes, I would recommend this hotel. It is not walking distance to downtown but has great views and is very quiet.

Comfortable, affordable place to stay

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Comfortable beds, sitting area, multiple channel cable.
Cons: Sofa was a little uncomfortable.
Location: Lots to do in downtown Ashland -- Shakespeare, film festival while we were there, shopping -- antiques, knick knacks, art galleries -- parks.
We went to the Ashland Film Festival and stayed at the Ashland Hills Hotel. It was very comfortable and affordable. We had a 2-bed suite with a sitting area and kitchenette (microwave, coffee maker, fridge, toaster, sink). Breakfast was delivered to the room; bread to toast, yogurt, fruit, granola bars, orange juice, coffee/tea. Not extensive, but sufficient. Full restaurant across the street. My only hitch was it was about 3 miles from downtown. We took a cab in to avoid parking problems; it cost $12 + tip.

Pros: mini kitchen and roominess of suite and oh so clean.
Cons: maybe make the TV control more user friendly
Location: very close to Ashland's main street
Great staff and facility with swimming pool and tennis courts. And we loved the breakfast basket with news paper and coffee.

Very nice stay.

Location: Easy to find, convenient location when coming from the east. Lots and lots of things to do in Ashland area.
Excellent handicap room with roll-in shower. Older hotel but clean and well taken care of. Helpful, friendly front desk personnel. Did not like the little breakfast, but better than nothing. Very good value, would definitely stay again.

So good I stayed an extra night! Very comfy!

Cons: Drapes and carpet need a change, but the room is very clean! Kudos to the housekeeping staff.
I will stay here again. Definitely recomend Ashland Hills. Clean comfortable, near I5, but very quiet. I had everything I needed.

Decent, but older and outdated.

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Decent hotel, but old and outdated. They seem to be remodeling, so some things were not available like their breakfast. They did deliver some breakfast snacks- but the quality was poor. The noise of jackhammers kept us away from the pool. The doors slam loudly- it was hard to get to sleep at night with the hallway noise of people coming and going. It would be nice to stay after the remodel- location was great! We loved the suite-style to the rooms, with the beds in a separate room, made for more space. The beds were very comfortable.
