Sorry, we overbooked or the last room in the hallPosted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: Beautiful lobby
Cons: Being overbooked
Location: Well located in the heart of Ashland Oregon
After a glowing review by a friend we decided to stay at this hotel. I found their internet site and booked a queen bedroom and prepaid a non-refundable payment. This was a holiday weekend get away and when we arrived it took a long time for the desk attendant to check us in. She apoligized and stated they had overbooked. Finally she gave me a room card and told me where to park. We entered the hotel then by the back door and there was our room, the room at the end of the hall. I opened the door and we went in. I surveyed the room as my wife made a beeline for the restroom. Two double beds not the queen I had reserved and I am 6'1" tall and do not fit that size bed. Suddenly my wife screamed. I rushed into the bathroom and found she had flushed the toilet while sitting on it and it overflowed getting her and her clothes wet. I left her to cleanup and change clothes and went to the front desk. I explained my problem and once again after much work on the computer was given another key card. I returned the first room and retrieved my wife and luggage. The next room was also at the end of the hall on the next floor. This room was very small but did have a queen bed. One of the lamps on the bed was burnt out. The bathroom was minuscule having only a tiny stall shower. Overall for having prepaid for a room and then ending up with two unsatisfactory rooms I was very displeased.

Nice Business StayPosted May 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is very clean, conveniently located, and staff is service oriented. Rooms are a bit on the small size, but is this is a common trait among older historic type hotels.

Excellent hotel, full of character and charm. Quiet, centrally located. Very good complimentary breakfast; great restaurant for a nice dinner. Make sure to do both self-guided walking tours of Ashland.

Great stay in AshlandPosted May 4, 2013
We stayed at hotel so we could attend the Oregon Shakesperean Festival. The hotel is a great location for this event. We parked our car and walked to events. No hassle about where to park and getting through traffic to be on time. The hotel is clean, friendly but rooms are small. A Europen flavor, The restaurant was a joy....good food and friendly staff.

great town, great hotelPosted Apr 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel has awesome, so much history. My wife and I toured the grounds and were amazed at how beautiful it was. Our room was great and the services were top notch! Also, Ashland is an amazing small town, we would recommend it to anyone!

Question: Do you have a Lost and Found? I am reasonably certain I left my hairbrush (silver-tone). Concierge., GiGi, especially helpful.
