Okay for an overnight

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: Good price, everything worked, fridge and microwave in room, decent breakfast.
Cons: Get the sauna, hot tub, and pool clean and in working order --or don't advertise having them!
Location: Great location near enough Highway 5 and downtown Ashland, but far enough away from the hubbub to be peaceful.
I arrived about 3 PM and was looking forward to a swim and hot tub after a long, sweaty drive from Portland. The warm pool was closed for repairs, the swimming pool dirty and cold, and neither the sauna and steam room was heated up. Needless to say I was disappointed. The room itself was fine - everything worked - and the staff I dealt with were helpful and pleasant.

Hotel in Ashland

Posted Jul 26, 2015
The hotel was fine for my family. There was a nice continental breakfast that we ate on the deck. Close but not walking distance to downtown. The hotel needs a little updating.

Nice location in Ashland

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Interior could use an upgrade.
Location: On one of the main streets not far from Southern Oregon University.
It is an older motel, but the rooms are large. It could use some modernizing, but it served the purpose. Staff was very nice.

Kitchenette in Room, Quiet Location

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Kitchenette with oven, fridge, microwave, comfy beds, quiet
Cons: Rooms and hotel needs to be updated.
Location: Downtown Ashland is less than 5 minutes away! Medford is about 20 minutes away.
This hotel is located in a nice and quiet area. We stayed in a room that was located on the backside of the hotel, and we didn't hear any of the traffic during the night! Had a nice breakfast-bisquits and gravy along with other staples such as toast, bagels, etc. The outside and inside of the hotel does need to be updated and painted, but the full little kitchen in our room was a pleasant surprise.

Looking for a swim so good. Staff disinterested.

Posted Jul 21, 2015
It was minimally adequate. Staff barely acknowledge me at check in. Nice suite option near pool. Comfy bed. Iron was useful. Convenient to OSF.

What could have been wasn't

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Kitchenettes
Cons: Caulk & clean around baseboards & do something with the tubs. Put an assurance notice that the bed covers that they are laundered after every guest.
Location: Most terrific, so much to do, lovely place.
In a pinch ok, and for the price ok but if I owned that place I would caulk and clean around baseboards in bathrooms and the tub it would show pride. Thank God for shower shoes. Not that it was dirty but I guess because it was perhaps so stained in the past, they painted the bottom and not even a nice white, dingy looking. The tile floors were new but because of the dirt in the baseboard cracks and around, I began to worry about whether they actually launder the bed spreads. Crazy stuff like that pops into your head when you see unsightly dust and dirt in corners and things. But the staff was terrific. It could be a great place with a little more care. Full kitchen was terrific. Really not bad, and for $75 a step up for sure from Motel 6.

Weekend in Ashland

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Good Wifi Coverage
The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very dated, but we didn't book it to hang out in the hotel for the weekend and so it was a great base of operations. The beds were comfortable and we slept great. The price was super reasonable and so would consider staying there again.

Good family hotel

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Unpretentious, clean and great value.
Location: 2 miles from the Shakespeare theaters and center of town.
Great family features: basic kitchenette (fridge, sink and microwave) even in the 2-queen bed room, even though this was not in the description. The pools are small but our 10-year old loved them. Breakfasts offered many options--but be sure to get there in the first hour, or supplies may run out. European families like ours will particularly enjoy it.

Location so so

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: The parking
Cons: Everything poor location if you want to enjoy the downtown/Village
The bed was cheap and bumpy. The room was tiny with the bathroom sink not to the bed. The floor was dirty with unknown partials throughout. The bathroom smelled like urine. Very discusting. The breakfast was yogurt and prepackaged muffins from ??? I will never stay at this place again. I will pay twice the amount. Don't let the 75.00 daily rate fool you.
