Cozy, convient, and cost-effectivePosted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: The shampoo and soap smelled incredible -- when does that EVER happen at a motel?
Cons: The beds are REALLY soft and my preference is more firmness.
Location: Downtown Ashland, Shakespeare Festival, Ashland Varsity Theater (movies), Lithia Park (hiking), Paddington Station (shopping)
The three C's, that's what you want, right? Well, I wasn't staying in Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival, it's the offseason. I just needed a comfortable room with speedy internet access and Flagship delivered seamlessly. I showed up after hours but they popped out of a back-room at the touch of a button. If you like coffee then you'll appreciate, as I did, that the room has a Keurig Coffee Maker and there's a push-button cappuccino machine at the continental breakfast.

Good for pricePosted Nov 21, 2013
Pros: Quiet, good price
Cons: Offer AAA discount through online booking. Clean the coffee maker so it can be used to make warm/hot water. Renovate a bit to make the bathroom bigger
Location: Good breakfast joint within walking distance. Have to drive to Ashland central, but it's a short drive.
Nice receptionist--the room was clean and quiet. The shower was a bit cramped, and things could be a bit more modern. The coffee machine was used to make water--but the water was coffee-flavoured and had to be run through with water several times until it cleared up enough to drink.

Will stay againPosted Nov 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Attending a sports event at the University, the hotel is a quick walk from the pavilion. Friendliest staff, both evening and morning shifts. Although small in size, we had a nicely updated room with microwave and larger than usual refrigerator. Don't let the exterior fool you, the rooms are clean, breakfast better than expected and its a good value.
