The Gallery area houses the Bakery Café, which includes a coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour touch-screen kiosk for ordering freshly prepared hot and cold items; guests pay by swiping either room key or credit card. A self-help case of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks is also available 24 hours; a complimentary Continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee is served each morning.
Among complimentary amenities are use of the TV room with its 27-inch flat-panel screen and seating for four, use of a computer with high-speed Internet access and a printer, all in the Gallery area; and hotel-wide wireless Internet access.

All guestrooms feature Hyatt's signature Grand Bed: Sealy Posturepedic mattress; 250-thread-count triple sheeting; down blankets; double down-surround pillows. Separated from the bed by a partial wall, the sitting area provides a queen sofa bed and desk.
42-inch, flat-panel, high-definition TVs allow guests to plug in laptops, MP3 players, and DVD players. Satellite channels include 11 channels of high-definition programming and SportsNet. Both wireless and wired high-speed Internet access are complimentary; one of the two telephones is cordless.

“Memon”
Good
“Wish I Could Move In To The Hotel”
Amazing service! They were constantly helpful, from the free breakfast, to allowing up to have our room almost 7 hours early, and the shuttle service helping us to no end. It was a great experience, with a beautiful comfortable room.
“Good - for what it is”
This hotel is very basic, but clean and efficient. The staff were outstandingly friendly and helpful. Free wi-fi was nice, beds very comfortable. Underground parking (free) a plus. The hotel is definitely past its "best-before" date and in need of refurbishment, but everything is clean and working. The lack of a restaurant and the typical "free breakfast but only within certain hours" is a bit of a drag, but they will make you some fast food (microwave/steamer) to order.
“Not impressed”
This hotel was not clean, and it needed updating.
“Spacious/Update Room”
I like to stay places with updated decor, and in person matched the online photos. The room was very big, enough space for 2 double or queen beds and a sitting area w/ desk when you first enter. I knew the hotel didn't have a full dining room. But the ready to eat food offerings, which included decent looking chef salad, turkey sandwich and baked goods looked good. Add'l. I could order a range of what I'll term "casual" offerings: soups, appetizers, salads, sandwiches. You place your order either for service in the dining area or to go with the front desk personnel or at a very convenient touch screen in dining area. The egg dish I ordered which was served to my table and my daughter's chicken noodle soup were both very good, as was the nachos we got to go another day. Although she didn't care for the mac & cheese which was also to go from the kids' menu. I appreciated the covered, free parking garage under the hotel. My daughter enjoyed the pool; wished I gotten a chance to sample the gym. My only complaint was that I thought the surface area of the night-table was small, and I didn't see an outlet near the bed for my computer. There's a great desk w/ outlets in the sitting area, but sometimes you want an outlet near the bed. I mentioned this at check out and the gal said there was one near the night table. I may have missed it..... Nonetheless, would definitely return.
“Great location for Tufts”
This is the third time we've stayed here to visit Tufts. Clean, good service, breakfast is good. Can walk to Medford shops and restaurants.
“Great hotel @ a great price”
We had a wonderful experience here. Clean & new accomodations. Very good continental breakfast. Our new stop when visiting our daughter @ college!
“For a Hyatt, not impressed at all.”
Room was poorly maintained. One phone didn't work, sink faucets where loose, No hot tub. People in the hall at 2:30 am swearing on there cell phone. We will think twice about paying a high end price for a Hyatt. In my opinion, stay someplace else.
“Just right”
We stayed here for a week. The staff for the most part was very courteous and helpful. They offer a free shuttle to the subway that takes you to downtown Boston, where you basically stop on The Freedom Trail. One morning their shuttle driver was not available so the hotel called me a cab and picked up the tab! I was impressed. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, but in need of a little upgrade or maybe deep cleaning of carpets and sofa. Though all essential things were clean in the room, details like dust in out of the way places were overlooked by housekeeping staff. So for cleanliness, they don't get more than a 3 from me. I think the management needs to do a white glove inspection. With more detail to cleaning, this place would get a higher rating!
“Convenient to Tufts University.”
Room A/C not working properly, otherwise clean, convenient & reasonably priced.
