“Lithia Springs treat (Retreat)”
After being unreserved by the first hotel reserved on Expedia, the customer service department set us up in Lithia Springs Resort. Talk about the luck. The Lithia Springs resort is more a retreat than a resort but it is all good. Beautiful grounds, gorgeous suites with mineral spring fed whirlpool bath, afternoon tea, complimentary wine, excellent front desk with beautiful women and maybe just maybe best of all, an endless jar of peanut butter cookies. Oh yeah, gourmet breakfasts too!! If I had anything negative it would be no TV in the suites even though there are cable outlets in the room. We were at shows or concerts most of the time anyway. I would like to suggest having a couple more lounge chairs because I really wanted to relax in one but the two were always in use. I would highly recommend this facility even at the normal price. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!
“Pretentious little place with extremely poor service”
We came here to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. We booked the "Water Tower Suite" which actually turned out to be a very small room with a cheap open closet and a plastic trash can (odd for a place pretending to be "chic"). The fridge is located on a piece of furniture, as there's no other room for it. No hairdryer in the bathroom, but my husband found a hair in the shower (!) upon arrival. The lady who accompanied us to the "suite" was the only kind person we met, and she was "newly hired". The resort has a well maintained garden which, together with the lithia water, are the only valuable things of this place. The room is very noisy at night, probbaly due to a water pump and local traffic. The next morning, we both greet with a "good morning" the blonde girl who acts as a manager, but we get absolutely no reply. Nobody greets us in the breakfast room, so, after having waited for several minutes, we sit ourselves. A lady finally arrives and starts helping other guests who had arrived after us for breakfast. We do not get any attention from her at all. At check out, I try to avoid any discussion with the "manager", but as she asks about our stay (she is the same person who didn't even reply to our "good morning" ten minutes before), I briefly explain and she offers us a refund, which I refuse, hoping they will understand this is a matter of principle and not of money. I understand why our local friends recommended us to stay at another hotel in town!
“Maricon”
Very relaxing place to stay.
“Dated”
Rooms are very sad and dated looking, gardens are very pretty and breakfast and afternoon tea make up for a lot.
“Nice place, great water”
Lithia water is fantastic on the skin, sulfur smell can be strong however. Breakfast very good for $6 charge. They seem to be working on the place, has some rough spots. Sofa bed very uncomfortable and sheets weren't overlly nice. But all in all beautiful gardens B & B feel, and nice staff.
“good stay, but:”
can't complain, really. everything was immaculate and pleasant, a good buy. food spare but delicious, not included in price. signage was poor and we couldn't find the place initially. off season, so very empty. close to freeway, could hear it outside. gardens not in bloom, but that's everywhere in march. otherwise a nice place with nice people and certainly comfy. easy access to town.
“gem”
Can't go wrong staying here...especially in the winter time when the rates are down. The gardens are dormant but the cheer remains.
