Such a pleasant surprise!!
Posted Jan 15, 2013
Pros: The peacefulness, tranquility..comfy beds and yummy breakfasts!!
Cons: Everything was delightful to me..
Location: It is on the north side of downtown Ashland, but only a few minutes away..right off the freeway..Jacksonville was about 20 minutes away and beautiful.
My husband and I have often come to Ashland and stayed at the La Quinta Inn..convenient, right off the freeway..But this trip I researched the internet a little and found Lithium Gardens..hum...sounded kinda cool and wasn't that much more than at La Quinta..PLUS had a hot breakfast included..It was still in the neighborhood of the friend we were visiting, so I thought, what the heck! Wow! Was I surprised..The property was exquisite..Blooming flowers everywhere..cottages dotting the property amongst park like conditions..Lots of sitting areas with comfy chairs..waterways with little walk bridges over..The main building was so inviting..So very clean and serene..the Staff was and as welcoming as the property..We are told there is Tea and cookies and scones in the afternoon..and homemade cookies actually available all day in the lobby..yum! We finally get to our room and it is a suite!! Beautiful view..kitchenette with fridge and micro, dishes for dinner in, alot of the comforts of home. Separate bedroom with a big double bath to enjoy the special spring waters the resort provides..nicely appointed bath and shower as well..It was quiet and peaceful. I was given a full tour of the property and some of the guest cottages the next day upon request..Everyone that works there loves the place and I can see why..Every single room and cottage is perfect..I can't wait to come back..perfect for a reunion or wedding ect..you must check it out!!

Great Overnight Stay
Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: The garden and spa treatments
Wonderful grounds with ponds, fragrant flowers and quiet surroundings. This was truly a great experience. The staff were great. - very helpful in recommending restaurants in Ashland. We definitely will travel back to Ashland to experience both this hotel and the interesting sites of the area.

Relaxation Bliss
Posted Jan 29, 2013
Pros: Loved the spring water Jacuzzi tub, the gardens, and the water accents in the garden. The Koi pond was a nice touch!
Cons: The cost was a bit high, but I can understand since the quality was beautiful!
Location: It seems really close to the highway, but once you enter into the gardens and rooms, the sound is nonexistent.
Absolutely astounding!!! The staff were wonderful, the hotel was very serene and the spring waters were so relaxing! I loved the gardens, and the afternoon tea was a sweet surprise. Breakfast was more than expected, check in/out was easy, the room was quiet and pristine. I felt very welcome and very at peace. No one would bother you without your permission, and the overall atmosphere was extremely welcoming.

Garden and gourmet delight
Posted Jan 21, 2013
Pros: Garden setting and gourmet delights
Cons: No elevator
Location: The location is perfect. Very private.
This is a hidden jewel in Ashland. This is a beautifully maintained inn with many amenities. The inn has thoughtfully anticipated many perks. The afternoon tea and the gourmet breakfast is served in a garden atmosphere. Friendly staff members can help with most requests. I would stay here again and not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Just lovely!
Posted Jan 20, 2013
Pros: Everything! Fab breakfast, too.
Cons: Room 4 needs an armoire that can hand long items - all you can hang - barely - are shirts and slacks.
Location: Just north of town but 5 minutes to central Ashland - on 99 so just minutes from Medford and Harry & David!
Great staff and grounds - the place to stay in Ashland

Nice get away

Loved the hot tub in the room. I wish there was a place to exercise on the resort, maybe a yoga class or something. We also loved the breakfast, so healthy and delicious.

What a surprise

Everything was excellent except that the pillows were too comfortable and the breakfast too marvelous. Anyone who doesn't like there stay will probably complain about the location - a mile or two uphill to Ashland - and the smell of the healing Lithia water, which comes out of every tap. But we enjoyed all the exceptional nuances.

Peace and quiet

This place is a gem. The room was most likely the quietest hotel room that I have ever had the pleasure to sleep in. The Lithia water did wonderful things for my skin. Ashland takes it food seriously and this breakfast lived up to that standard. The offering was fresh, colorful and plentiful.
