Just mediocrePosted Oct 14, 2014
The front desk young lady had a lot to juggle and she handled herself well when I checked in and there was four people in line and only her. The vending machine on the second floor didn't work. The room had just the minimum of what was required. There was a couch and table and chairs that I wouldn't sit on. The comforter on the bed was the first thing to come off. Who knows how old it was and how long ago it had been washed. There was a cleaning product smell throughout the room, so that gave me some comfort that things were cleaned but just everything was shabby. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice. The TV worked fine and the printout of channel numbers helped to navigate to find a few shows. How to get there is a little confusing but it is close to a lot. The breakfast in the morning was disgusting. The waffle mix was everywhere and even though there was an attendant, she didn't clean up anything. The trash cans were spilling over. Just the bare bones breakfast. Like I said, everything was just mediocre. I stayed at the Inn at the Commons and really liked that place. They were booked for a music festival, but I'll go back there next time as my kids live in this town.

needs updatingPosted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: liked the indoor pool for our kids and loved the great free breakfast with lots of hot items.
the staff was nice and the rooms were clean, but the pool area looked like it had been under construction but then they just quit before it was finished. also the water and air were very loud in the rooms. when another room used their shower it sounded like our room was being abducted by aliens.

Disappointed in the condition of the facility. Facility seems aged and in need of major updating.

Pros: The front desk clerk was very friendly and responsive.
Cons: Just would recommend an updating. The A/C was quite noisy.
Location: Medford which is close to Ashland where they have the Shakespearean Festival from February to October. Jacksonville, a cute town and an outdoor theate
The hotel was OK but nothing great. Fairly old and not updated. The staff were nice to deal with but there was an incident. I left my Kindle in the room. When I called a couple hours after checking out, it had disappeared and has not been found. I am assuming the cleaning staff has taken it. Waiting for a call from the manager to see if anything can be done. I did call and had it locked out of being able to order more downloads so it is pretty useless to the individual.

Price is rightPosted Sep 9, 2014
Old hotel, nice staff. They are adding a Denny's and a slide to their swimming pool. I bet in it's day it was a really nice place! It is passed it's prime, but seemed clean enough. We enjoyed our stay!

Room was not clean. No elevator if you are with bags and got a room in second floor.. it is going to be little tough.

Just RightPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Everything was adequate. Clean
Cons: Carpet. The burgundy makes it looks "drabby". Maybe a less dark color.
Location: Tons - Food4Less, Shopping Mall, Elmer's, Pizza Hut, Sizzlers, etc, etc
The Ramada @ Medford was one of those places that did not have any qualities that stood out. There was nothing bad either. It was at a good location close to I5, next to a 24x7 Food4Less, excellent restaurant named Elmers, Pizza Hut, Sizzler, etc; close to a shopping mall with REI, Macys, etc. So, location wise, it was excellent. The included breakfast was good enough and nice convenience. Again, nothing special. In room wifi was decent. Carpeting was dark and drab, but serves its purpose. No view from room, but that's OK. Bathroom was clean, cheerful with all usual "stuff". Overall, the Ramada serves its purpose for a reasonable price, but there is nothing that gave me a "wow".
