Getting antquitated.

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Beds were not very comfortable. Shower heads are too low with poor water pressure. Exercise room was antiquated with the multi station weight trainer in dire need of repairs. The hot tub was luke warm at best an the indoor pool was cold. There are better places to stay in this area for the price. Not to mention the difficulties in accessing this property. Changes a few years back by the cities road division make it extremely difficult to navigate ingress and egress to the hotel.

Nice but outdated.

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Pros: Staff. Dining facilities.
Cons: Update the rooms.
Location: Don't pay attention to this.
I have stayed at the Rogue Regency over the years, several times. At first it was top notch, up to date, and a 5 out of 5 across the board. Now the rooms seem dated. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed my stay as the staff was very very good to excellent. But the rooms just don't seem to be updated since the early days of staying there except for the flat screen TV. I will stay there again as long as the prices are sub $100. I don't believe it deserves more than that until they update the rooms. Good stay, good food at the diner, very nice sports bar available, but needs updating. Again. Staff was very very good.

Home away from home

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: See paragraph above. Oh, and the have slot machines! And they give you a chit so you can purchase breakfast for 4.95.
Cons: Nothing, for me.
Location: Near the airport and very close to the mall. Medford is pretty small, so most things are close.
They have special rates for rooms when I come into town for a medical visit and am too weak to drive the 90 miles back home. They are always kind and friendly. The room is clean and comfortable the food is good. They also have reduced rate rooms on a lower level that only have one queen. I stay in one of those if I get in too late or have to depart too early when I'm traveling. It's very close to the airport and they do long term parking in their parking lot. They shuttle me to and from. What else would you want?

OK, but not very accommodating

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Service
Location: Near the airport
We departed our room on the third day at around 3:30 PM not realizing that no room service was available after 3:00 PM. The next day the desk person on duty did not seem concerned that we had no room service the previous day. We got our morning coffee in the nearby resturant.

Excellent for Medford!

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: Convenience to shopping, quiet rooms, excellent staff assistance, good breakfast at a very reasonable price 4.99 coupons for our first day stay
Cons: Try adding the chlorine around 11 pm at night so by 6 am the Hot tub can be used.
Location: Medford is an occasional stop during our travels to CA and back home to Portland. No sightseeing, just a great place to stay.
Everything was perfect EXCEPT the hot tub had too much chlorine and we couldn't use it because it made our skin sting. But pool was right temp and the exercise room had great equipment. Restuarant had exellent food, but ran out of dessert choices - told the special was pumpkin Crème Brule but they were out. But the carrot cake and apple pie were fabulous! This place has a sports BAR! EXCELLENT for the Sunday Monday Football season. Friday and Saturday date night special of around 150, room, meal and comedy show - GREAT bargain! But we didn't know this existed until we got there. Will book it next time we are in Medford
