Clean is so relaxing

Posted Aug 25, 2014
The room was spotless looked and smelled fresh and clean. Great beds and bedding. Shower curtain appeared new and upgraded. Not a lot of room to walk around with two queen size beds. The door hung crooked and was hard to open and close. Our room was under the stairs by the ice machine. Not to noisy but....

Comfortably meets most needs.

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: The comfortable clean beds and air conditioning.
Cons: The carpeting was awfully spotted and dirty.
Location: Excellent location, close to the Shakespeare Festival, and alongside a Market of Choice, at which any food you could want is available and good.
The beds were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and except for a badly spotted carpet the room appeared to be clean too. The air-conditioning blew from the sink, rather than across the beds, as it does in some motels, rendering it more comfortable to deal with the unit's air stream while lying in bed. There was a frig and microwave. The pool is quite small, but there is one. There is nothing more I needed for a few nights stay. It was disappointing that the front desk is not open 24/7, in case of late night emergencies. The breakfast is so small, but I had read that, so it was not a disappointing surprise. Overall, I found it quite satisfactory for the price. One just has to realize what corners are cut.

Nice, clean motel

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: great motel for the price.
Cons: Only suggestion would be to add sheer curtains so that one may have the regular curtains open for light to come into room
Location: Short drive to downtown. Ate at a pizza place (hand tossed), very good. Suggest Morning Glory for breakfast just down the street from motel.
This was a great motel for the price with a clean litle pool. While we didn't use it there were several people taking a swim and all seemed happy. The room itself was very adequate, beds comfy and room clean. Would recommend it. Ask for room 111 bottom floor. Liked it as it had a little extra foliage/bushes in front of the window for extra privacy.

Awesome motel at reasonable rate

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Ceramic mugs, nice comfy beds with quality bedding, and close in location.
Cons: No...
Location: Oregon Shakespeare Theater Company.
I love this place! It has ceramic mugs, no styrofoam, and nice cotton bedspreads. The AC worked well, and it is a very short drive to downtown and a very pleasant 30 minute or so walk. The breakfast is bagels and orange juice and coffee. There is a grocery store literally next door, just across a parking lot. There is a fridge, microwave, flat screen TV and coffee maker in the room.

Reasonably priced, comfortable, older motel

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: We liked the friendly, helpful staff, and especially the free WIFI. The smoke-free, and freshener-free rooms were great for our allergy sufferers
Cons: The air-conditioner in room (106) clunked whenever the compressor went off. Booking a family, the king sized room or two joined rooms might be best.
Location: While not near downtown Ashland, it IS near many food sources for a family, including an excellent food market, a pizza place,Wendy's etc.
We originally booked a room for 4 adults and 1 child. After one night we were feeling crowded and needed a second bathroom, so a staff member helped us to also book an adjacent room at a very economical price. We were at the motel for 4 nights to attend the Shakespearean Theater in Ashland, Oregon. While the motel is too far to walk to the wonderful shops and theaters in Ashland, it is a very short drive. The motel provides free WIFI which was terrific for our computer using family. The pool, while too small to swim laps, is quite clean and adequate for soaking, sunning, splashing about, and cooling off. The small refrigerator, the TV, and microwave oven were very welcome to a family. The rooms are not spacious, but they are clean and the beds are quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and well appointed. I asked for a little extra coffee and received it quickly. My wife and I were very pleased over all.
