I'll be back!

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: The Timbers was very quiet. The room was spotless and tidied each morning. The bed was very comfortable. And there were ceramic mugs for coffee!
Cons: Keep doing what you're doing.
Location: Adjacent to groceries, restaurants, and college. And it's just a 3/10 mile walk to Morning Glory, which is a must for breakfast.
Nearing the end of a three and a half week road trip, my three-day stay here was most welcomed. With very comfortable weather, it was a nice walk into town.

"Oh that's out of order..."

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: The bed was fine. Which, really, isn't that the most important?
Cons: Clean the goop off the wall and a good sweep around the room...
Location: We were there to attend a play at the Shakespeare festival.
"That's out of order" was a common response to our questions. When we checked in the clerk pointed out a small cocktail table with 2 chairs. Beyond that was a large closet with a coffee maker, on a counter with cups. He told us that's where the continental breakfast is. He said, "It's not much; just some of those packaged danishes and coffee." He sorted shrugged which seemed, to me, that we oughta look some where else for breakfast. He was quick to recommend a place. The bathroom was pretty small. The shower/bath was standard but took up most of the room. The outlet, in the bath....which seemed odd...but it had been glued to the wall and in the process of drying, slid down so you could see the trail of dried goop. When I asked for a wake up call, we were told, "Oh, that's broken". ASked for ice, "Yeah, that's broken too." Power went out about 10pm...in the midst of a work project. That was a bummer. Day clerk didn't know anything about it. My guess is that, "it was broken" The bed was fine and had nice linens. That's my positive remark.

,convenient well-priced clean

we had a good experience at the timbers. The room is well designed with a table and a large desk. Bathroom was new with a good shower head. Continental breakfast was basic. The only disadvantage was the parking. There really aren't enough spaces in the lot near the motel but there is plenty of adjacent parking.

Reasonably priced room, great location, Clean!

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: Location, price and comfort level.
Cons: I found nothing to be improved. This room really worked for us.
Location: Great location near our favorite breakfast spot.
We stayed there for three nights and had a great experience. Motel has been refurnished and is very comfortable. Perfect location for us. Check in clerk was very helpful. We loved having the frig in our room. Microwave is also there. Iron and ironing board were nice touches.

Friendly staff, pet friendly, very reasonably pric

Pros: Pet-friendly policy
I made my reservation online and didn't realize I needed to let the motel know that I'd be having our small dog with us overnight. When we arrived, they were out of pet-friendly rooms, but the manager made an accomodation for us at no extra charge. It's a bit of a walk to downtown, but not far. Right across from Southern Oregon University. It's not the swankiest of places, but it has wi-fi and comfortable beds. The price was at least half of what was being charged closer into town. This place was perfect for us.

Basic, clean and convenient

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: The price and it's very clean.
Cons: I can't recommend the breakfast, coffee and bland English muffin with a banana, but for the price, I'm not complaining.
The Timbers motel is my "go to" place when I visit Ashland and I visit 4-6 times a year. The rooms are clean, comfortable and close to a great grocery store and several restaurants. This is a no frills place and provides everything you need at a good price. It is not walkable to downtown but only 5 minutes by car.

Decent for a short stay.

Pros: Great rate. So glad that it was close to a market and some great restaurants. A nice 20 min walk downtown.
Cons: Building is starting to look a little rundown.
Friendly staff, good location but could use a little TLC as it's getting a little rundown.
