Surprise Luxury

Posted Oct 27, 2014
We loved it!!!! This place is simply incredible! Outstanding decor and attention to details aesthetically. The ONLY disappointment that seemed out of sync w/quality was food - breakfast should be more sophisticated - it felt like the same extended one you get at roadside motels. I would also include local wine in the evening reception.

We loved it!

We will come back. Nice walking trail to river. We could see the Rogue River from our porch which had two rockers. Very peaceful and not that far off the highway.

Nice character property with super staff

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Character, helpful staff, cleanliness and privacy
Cons: The fridge was very noisy despite its size!
Location: This property is within easy access to many wildlife, nature and historic attractions, e.g. redwoods, Crater Lake, Pacific coast and Jacksonville etc
We stayed for 3 nights in one of the cabins by the river. We did not want a modern plastic hostel and were not disappointed! The atmosphere at the Weasku Inn was great. Yes, some equipment might be described as dated but the place was clean and well supplied. We enjoyed a glass of wine on our private porch and nightly fresh cookies with milk in a frozen mug! There is much to see nearby and we found great nature walks and views and some excellent restaurants in Jacksonville.

Old made new - delightfully

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Friendly greeting, thoughtful services, well-equipped units, delicious food and a gorgeous setting.
Cons: Perhaps some "wagons" could be provided for transporting luggage from the parking area down to the individual cabin units.
Location: Super location...off the beaten path but certainly within easy travel distance of many attractions and activities.
Other than for having to transport our belongings without the aid of a luggage cart, our experience was superb! Upon entering, we immediately noticed a cozy ambiance, even though the rooms were spacious and full of modern amenities. The furnishings and decor blended old and new beautifully. The riverside setting was icing on the cake.

Lodge in Grants Pass

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: The old style wooden lodges and the quietness. The view from the lodge.
Cons: Better breakfast
Location: The hotel is in nice, quiet setting but it is just 3 miles to drive in to Grants Pass
The Weasku Inn is like staying in an old fashioned wooden lodge but with all modern amenities. We stayed just one night but would have loved to have stayed longer. We stayed in one of the lodges overlooking the stream with the river through the trees. We had a nice balcony and couple of rocking chairs to sit on. Inside we had a comfy double bed with settee along with a large bathroom. The main reception area is also old style and houses the breakfast room along with some other rooms (which we did not see). Breakfast was very quiet and continental style. The location is across the river from Grants Pass on a quiet road. It is easy to get to restaurants.

This is a wonderful hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Amenities include appetizers and free cookies. You can also sample local wines. Breakfast was included and very nice. Very much worth the price!!

Pros: The hall is very nice.

The bed. is very high, some people need stairs. Cleanless is very good.
