“Romantic Cabin on the Rogue River”

We visited the Weasku Inn on a rainy weekend in March. The resort was virtually empty, but we still enjoyed walking along the Rogue River in the rain. The cabin we occupied was charming and cozy -- the king-sized bed was very comfortable. There was not a good reading light/chair in the cabin, but we managed, sitting on the sofa in front of the fire and moving table lamps. The main lodge living room had a crackling fire going, and we read, and played with the ubiquitous jigsaw puzzle, in front of it. The included breakfast was a bit uninspired -- we had to request what we wanted in writing from a limited menu the day before, and indicate the quantities desired-- mostly cold choices-- but we could avail ourselves of the toaster, and the coffee was hot. The odd event was the advertised "evening wine and cheese reception." We arrived at the appointed hour, 4:30, only to be told the hotel would indeed put out some cheese and crackers, but any wine would have to be purchased, by the glass or bottle. My sister-in-law had stayed there two weeks before, but had booked directly with the hotel, and not Expedia. She was offered a complimentary glass of wine. Hmmm...... At least they allowed us to charge the wine to our room! The staff was very friendly, and their restaurant recs were very good. All in all, we would go back again, but maybe try it at a time when there were more guests.

“quiet family-friendly retreat”

We appreciated the special touches (milk and cookies every evening, fresh fruit and beverages, breakfast) and rustic atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean (although the new paint/new mattress smell needed to be aired out daily). Staff members were friendly and attentive.

“A new favorite place”

What a nice surprise to have such a great lodging experience at a good price! This was one of the nicest and most memorable places I've stayed (and I travel often). Beautiful facility, outstanding woodsy setting, wonderful staff, immaculately clean. I've already booked a room for my return trip.

“Make a Point to Stay During "Off Season"”

Super quaint! I stayed in a river view cabin with fireplace and it was so cozy! Staff was lovely as were the accommodations. I will say I got a GREAT rate because it was off season, and it was nice having the meals and snack times not overly full because it was slower. I'm not sure if I would be as satisfied had a paid "on season" rates. Nice trail to the river makes for a lovely afternoon activity and all the meals and snacks were great!

“A comfy night in the course of a long trip!”

We stayed at this Inn for just one night on our way up the coast. We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer.

“A wonderful getaway.”

A unique, nostalgic inn with the feeling of truly being "away from it all", even though it's not far from I5! We didn't want to leave and that is important in these hectic times. We will certainly return again and again. We met some very nice people, from as far away as Scotland.

“Relaxing weekend”

Great old rustic hotel. Stayed in one of the river view cabins with a porch and two rocking chairs. Rooms were large, clean and beautifully furnished. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. It included waffles, scones, yogurt, bagels, biscuts and gravy, cereal, fresh fruit and a lot more. All around a great weekend.
