Overnight stay

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: The room was clean, quiet, had fast wifi access, beautiful pool and a very good continental breakfast. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The only thing we did not like is the carpeted floors, but that would also pertain to every other hotel we stayed at during out travels.
Location: Great location close to all shopping.
We were travelling across western Canada and stayed at this hotel for one night. From the four hotels we stayed at during our travels, we liked this one the best.

hotel is fine, but ..

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: breakfast
Cons: Making hotel quiet, at least not allow people to make loud noise after certain time, say 10:30pm.
Location: location is fine. Shopping mall is just at the corner.
It is a typical motel. It is reasonable clean, good swimming pool. We liked the breakfast that was better than most other places. I said "but", because the night we were there was so noisy. People talked so loudly just outside of windows from we checked in (8pm) until 6am in the morning. It seemed those people booked sleeping place for making social party just outside of hotel windows. I happened to read other sleepless comments posted before so that I am wondering whether this happens often?

Worst service and rooms ever

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Staff was very rude. They refused to honor my cancellation even though it was because their amenities were not working. No pool, no internet, no hot tub. Got the run around really bad. Was told refund was no problem but then they refused over and over again. Kept telling me manager was available but he never was. Staff were not very informed about the hotel and even when they had my id in their hands and I said I'm so and so, they kept asking my name over and over. Then They spelled my name wrong on everything. Like seriously? Why does this hotel exist?

Hotel stay.

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: It had a good hair dryer.
Cons: Almost everything.
Location: Right by the main highway. And there was a Tim Horton's very ne'er by.
The room was very clean and close to the road. Easy to find. It said it had free wifi but we were never given the password to get on It. The shower could use a lot more pressure, I could spit harder. The toilet was wabaly, it rocked when I sat on it. The fan in the bathroom sounded like it was going to launch itself off the ceiling. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The bottom sheet kept coming off. The air conditioner was too complicated to get to work. When the fridge cut in , it sounded like something was crawling in the walls, very anoying. The sofa was comfortable though.

Cost Effective

Posted Aug 15, 2014
A good hotel if your staying a night or two and don't want to pay a lot. It has all your essentials and was adequate for someone needing a place to lay their head for a night.

Nicer than camping

Posted Aug 9, 2014
This place felt pretty worked over by its guests, and not well cared for by its owners. It was clean, but our room had unfinished drywall repairs in progress, the furnishings were pretty tired, the shower in the pool area was spraying water from the faucet in the men's, the faucet came off in the women's, the switch on the coffee maker came off in our hands, the fake fruit in the corner looked moldy, the continental breakfast was fine but am sure I saw hamburger buns there, and the signage refusing to be responsible for damaged swimsuits made me suspect the chlorine levels in the pool were not well managed. Not terrible, but not good either.

Nice short stay hotel.

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Comfortable beds, nice pool, tasty breakfast.
Cons: New carpets and chairs. Ours was stained
Location: Easy to find off the highway. Close to Pizza Hut and winners which we enjoyed!
Although the room needed updating and new carpet it was a good sleep. It had a nice pocket door divider between bathroom and beds which was fantastic with small children ( I didn't have to camp out in the bathroom while they fell asleep!). The pool was clean and warm. We loved that. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. My daughter left her beloved stuffed giraffe there and I called the next evening when I noticed and they had it there for me packaged with my name on it when we travelled back through. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Not so great...

Posted Aug 7, 2014
There was only a flat sheet instead of fitted sheet on the bed. It kept coming off at night. There were also no extra towels.
