Good hotel if a bit overpriced

Posted Dec 2, 2012
Overall, a good place to stay although a bit overpriced. The shower was excellent -- above average for hotels. The beds were good, but not as good as cheaper hotels we've stayed in (why does the quality of the beds seem to go down as the price of the room goes up?)

convenient and comfortable place in Medora

Posted Sep 6, 2012
Pros: location
Cons: cost
We stayed here to visit Theodore Roosevelt National Park. All the hotels in Medora seemed a little high priced but we experienced that in other places in North Dakota also. We had a standard 2-bed room that had apparently been recently redecorated and was fine. At least we had a breakfast here. We paid more in Minot with no breakfast. The lobby area was pleasant and homey. Nice indoor pool that I had all to myself the evening we were there.

AC not working in mid-July. Made for an awful night. Paid top dollar for this misery.

A little pricey, but totally worth it!

Lovely employee behind the front desk let us check in early and gave good advice about where to eat. Room was clean and the beds were outstanding. The pool was super hot, but very clean and decorated nicely. Awesome location for whatever you're planning on doing in Medora, and the closest hotel to Bully Pulpit Golf Course, which was amazing too.

The hotel is a little "pricey," but the location can't be beat.
