Don't stay in winter!

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Clean, good St Kilda location.
Cons: Shower and hot water. Air conditioner.
Although the hotel is nice, this is the second time (stupidly) I have stayed here and not had hot water in the shower. At best, it is luke warm. Staff explained that in peak times in winter, the hot water system can't keep up. To make matters worse, the aircon/heater is set on a do-gooder mode which automatically turns off after about 4 hours. So if you set a nice temperature when you go to bed, you wake up at about 2am cold again.

Centrally situated for St. Kilda. Not convenient

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Handy for trams.
Cons: Get some staff who appear interested in the customers and who can understand what is being said to them.
Location: On tram route. Expensive restaurants. Local winos provide a cabaret show.
Only met one pleasant staff member on the day we left. The others were at best indifferent.Given a room with a fine layer of dust. No outlook. A trek to get to it. No basin plug. WiFi 20 dollars a day. The room was dull. Overall I would not Use this property again.

Staff are great.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Staff and the hotel is in a great spot and clean and tidy.
Cons: Hot water system.
Location: Great location and great for transport.
The staff are very accommodating and the hotel is clean and tidy and is in a great spot . My only problem is that on a Saturday night at 6.45pmish in the middle of winter there was no hot water - I had a tepid/cold shower. The staff were great and said that they would immediately reset the heaters (which I'm sure they did) and wait 15 minutes before trying the water again. I could not wait 15 minutes as I had dinner reservations so had to leave and was already cold from my first shower. I would go back again to give it another go but hot showers are non negotiable requirements whether it be summer or winter.

Excellent for the price, location and convenience

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Price, Facilities, location, privacy.
Cons: As mentioned only a faint smell of damp on one level but that may have been from a fire shower going off or renovations.
Location: Food, Nightlife, Trams and transport, A farmers market directly across the road on weekends. Its all here
I stayed here for a weekend with the wife. I actualy made late arangements to haved 1 day earlier checkin on the same day without any drama. I stayed here with a friend and his girlfriend who slept on the fold out bed couch thingy. They were amazed at the quality of the room and the space for the price paid. Value packed as we had wanted a night on the town and by the time we added transport ect well worth the price. The room was very clean, and large. stove top, fridge, washing machine and drier all in the kitchen and nicely hidden away in cupboards. The only thing of a negative I could say is that the hall way between one of the levels smelled of damp. But that could be due to renovations beeing undertaken at time Also to note there is a woolworths that was to open a few days later across the road at the St Kilda tram station. aprox 100mtrs away across the road. The staff were friendly and parking available was secure. They have there own parking as well as a pay to park underneath the building. So ensure you are in the correct place. There is a little resteraunt right next door that operates from morning till night and the food and service is superb. with very decent prices. In fact the whole street has some awsome food places. I will very happily stay here again. Walking distance to everywhere in st Kilda and just a tram ride to the city. A taxi cost us $70 early in the morning to take us to the domestic airport but this can be done much cheaper

Great Location and Nice Apartments

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Cons: Maybe having sound proofing between apartments, as we had very noisy neighbours
Location: St Kilda has a lovely market on Sunday's, Walking along the promenade is relaxing, Lovely Botanic Gardens and pretty good shopping as well.
The staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful, the apartments were very comfortable, clean and serviced daily. The Location was great, had public transport close by and St Kilda has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend.

A nice place to stay

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: It's location. The staff was helpful.
Cons: Wii-fi availability.
Location: Several trams stop by the hotel. It's a 15 minute tram ride to the city. Can jog in Albert park, across the road from hotel.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. Location was near the trams, enabling us to travel to the city. A short walk to the lovely St Kilda beach area. Wish we had better access to Wi-fi, instead of free half hour per day, which was not sufficient.

Staff were helpful and attentive. Great proximity to the beach, cafe's and trams. Wheelchair access room was okay, bathroom not quite right and crockery in high cupboards.

Affordable, comfortable, great staff, very helpful

Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: It is in a central location, the room was self contained, the staff were excellent.great shower/ bath.
Cons: The complementary car park was for a "small car" as my car space was taken by some one who was not a guest of the hotel. The hotel staff told them to
Location: Fitzroy St, St Kilda is cafe's pubs restaurants and bars & the beach.
Very helpful staff, good location, fantastic shower/ bath. my room was very pleasing. It had a fridge, split system, washer dryer, dish washer. I thought this was very good value for money.

Lovely hotel. Very convenient

We were very pleasantly surprised with Adina Apartment Hotel. It was very reasonably priced for such a high quality facility so close to all so many wonderful places.
