North Melbourne serviced apartmentsPosted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Proximity to tram stop Value for money Comfy bed
Cons: TV size and height WiFi pretty expensive ($20 for 24 hours)
Location: A few minutes walk to Errol St and North Melbourne shops
I had a 1brm apartment for the week. The room presented reasonably well - brand new leather(ette) sofa, full kitchen facilities & comfortable bed. TV was pretty small and mounted at height that made it a bit awkward to watch. I was on the top floor, no lift in the building but that wasn't really a problem.

We arrived. As facility changing hands...new owners were very helpful and we wish them well.

Good value for moneyPosted Nov 11, 2014
Close to tram station, less than 100m; good location, convenient to go on and off to the CBD. Close to the road, will be a bit noisy when car & tram came across, but I don't find it a big problem for me. A bit old but clean and tidy. For this price, it's really good value for money.

Fantastic friendly service!Posted Jul 31, 2014 on Hotels
Fantastic, friendly service. We were a mere 15-20 minute walk to the City, 10 minutes walk away from Victoria Market, 2 minutes walk away from main route trams. On arriving before check-in time, our bags were kept safely for us while we went into the City. The Myki public transport card was explained to us, so we went out and bought our Myki cards, loaded them up for travel and off we went into the City to explore until check in time! There is a store 5 minutes walk away to purchase groceries as well as the Vic market - I would recommend this hotel favourably and we'll definitely be returning to stay next time we're in Melbourne. Our room was cleaned daily and it was not too noisy at all (being so close to the City) - we slept just fine.

Great locationPosted Jul 26, 2014 on Hotels
Great location! Not too far from Queen Victoria Market and just one tram stop to CBD or zoo. All staff are very nice and friendly. However the internet connection is not stable. If you are lucky, u can have fast stable internet for 1-2 hours. The good news is it's free!
