Hotel close to St. KildaPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Price was good, good food and location
Cons: a bit run down in the room itself, old carpets, furniture and some broken things in the bathroom.
Location: Albert Park, St. Kilda
Hotel was OK, family room was spacious, ordered. Did not use the restaurant, but food on the a la carte menu was good.

Hotel close to Aus Grand PrixPosted Mar 18, 2015
We chose Bayview because it's close to Albert park for the f1 Grand Prix so location was wfect for what we need. Otherwise be aware the walls of the hotel is thin n you can hear the noise outside

Pros: Staff were friendly. Room cleaned
Cons: Directions to car park
Location: Close to petrol stations, shops, arms transport, beach/
We stayed the weekend. Since we were driving from out of state we were unable to make our check in staff were very helpful and understanding. Rooms were decent and clean, window view was not the best but overall it was a pleasant stay.

Good location but overpricedPosted Mar 2, 2015
We stayed for two nights. Best point was the location. We had a run of small things happen that made our stay less enjoyable. After checking in our room keys wouldn't work. After a long drive It was an inconvenience. I had to go down and have them redone or wait for ten minutes for some one to come up. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. We had someone knock on the door around midday on our second day to check the mini bar. Thought that was odd. Tje room service was very quick but the good we ordered was a pre cooked frozen pattire that needed more cooking. It was quick though and the chips were good. The breakfast was not good. Food was cold and had been sitting out for some time. Had sent through a pre approval for payment several days prior to arriving.and that hadn't been processed when we went to checkout. Just small things but our stay wasn't as relaxed as id hoped. Good location for the wedding we were there for.

Pleasing findPosted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms and convenient location.
Location: On the park and a short 20 minute walk to the CBD.
I stayed through convenience because this hotel was where my conference was being held. However I can certainly say that I will be staying there again. Location is good being near Albert Park and only a 20 minute walk into the CBD. Staff were friendly and most importantly to me the hotel room was very clean. It could probably do with an update at some point but then it would become more expensive. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Parking onsite was handy too. Top tip is to book this hotel through Expedia as I saved heaps and got breakfast included!

Excellent position, close to trams to the city.Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: It was very quiet and easy to get to from all directions. It was close to the CBD.
Cons: The paint in the foyers, they needed painting.
For the price I thought the hotel was quite luxurious. What I mean is I would have expected to pay more for what I received in comfort and facilities etc.

Wow what a winnerPosted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: breakfast and pool
Location: Short walk to tram on St Kilda Rd, we went to Southbank for a stroll before dinner.
Very friendly staff. I had emailed them a couple of times to ask questions and they even arranged chocolate strawberries for our room (as we were staying for my mums birthday). Pool is warm and inviting.
