PleasingPosted Feb 21, 2015
Easy to get to and from most of the busy parts of Melbourne using public transport. Room was as clean and adequate for our needs. Overall would recommend.

Pros: Nice swimming pool and very quiet location.
Cons: Update the bathroom.
The overall room cleanliness was ok. However the curtains were spotted and needed cleaning. The room and bathroom were small and the internet was not working most of the time. The bed was very hard much made sleeping difficult at times.

WeekendPosted Jan 17, 2015
We stayed here because we took my sister to the airport on sunday so we made a nice weekend of it. The hotel was a perfect spot for us enjoying the city. Easy to find and close to the CBS. Good value for the money.

Pros: The foyer was nice.
Cons: The rooms and air-conditioning.
Location: Good location, close to city.
Staff were nice but room was pretty outdated. Woke to the old air conditioner leaking water throughout the cupboard. Got little sleep with the constant dripping. Hotel water also made me ill.

Quick Break To MelbournePosted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Liked the proximity to city centre by tram. St Kilda Beach and Luna Park were also a short tram ride away.
Cons: The hotel is in need of a bit of remodelling like new carpets and paint to bring it up to par.
Location: The Victorian Art Gallery was close by. Chapel street was a short tram ride away. Golf was just accross the road. The pool and Gym were on site.
The Hotel was just a short distance from Southern Cross Station, around $15 taxi fare. The hotel was opposite to Albert Park golf course and lake. Checkin was quite quick and with no glitches. My room was fairly basic and was a bit surprised to find two single beds and not a double or queen size. Internet connection was extra, around $35 for 5 days. Had breakfast and dinner a few times at the hotel restaurant which provided a wide variety of food. There was a nice pool area and a gym.

ConvenientPosted Dec 21, 2014
Cons: Too much to write in here.
Location: Convenient to the hospital we had to attend the next day.
Taps in the bathroom had been rearranged. Cold tap handles on the hot water and hot taps on the cold water. The cold tap handle on the hot water in the shower came off completely when I turned it on. I cannot believe this hadn't been noticed prior to my stay by cleaning staff and reported for attention. As soon as I walked into the bathroom, I realised the taps were in the wrong order. Room was clean and comfortable, enough for an overnight stay.
