Terrible wi-fi and no room servicing

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: The location and the music in the lifts. It's not often that strangers dance together in a lift.
Cons: Wi-fi that works or if it doesn't at least don't grunt and continue to take my money. More toilet paper.
Location: Close to Vic markets, CBD, Southern Cross and just about everything.
This is the second time I have stayed here. Last time was flawless. This time our room was not serviced which meant we ran out of toilet paper and the wi-fi was almost non existent - one bar at the best. I had to drop out of an online meeting because the line just kept dropping out and my daughter could not complete her homework. I did mention how it didn't work as I paid for the service but the desk clerk just sort of grunted. Apart from that the room was clean and the location is perfect for early morning departures.

No frills and no nasty surprises.

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: Location. Size of room.
Cons: Extra sheet on the bed.
Location: Opposite Southern Cross station and main tram route stops right outside. Spencer outlet shopping is across the road as well as Coles and Hungry Jacks.
Good comfy rooms. No frills but you get all you need and this is reflected in the great price. Great location. I will always choose to stay here.

close to cbd and ethihad staduim

Pros: room size, daily house keeping, views from the room (windows were a bit dirty) and just the position that the hotel was located
Cons: satellite tv for european visitors or foxtel as there was nothing on the local channels late at night pool would need to be heated better
Location: southern cross station etihad stadium melbourne central the list goes on ,
i stayed at the best western atlantis hotel for 4 nights during may staff were helpful in helping to give directions to the tourist attractions and printing on boarding passes for the flight home the pool was a bit cold for my liking but thats only minor thing when there is so much to do in melbourne and with only 4 nights to play with doesnt really leave you with much time if you are worried about safety around Spencer st as i was, across the road from the hotel is the newly opened police station on spencer st knowing that was there did put my mind as ease a bit overall i would recommend this hotel to family and friends and will stay there again on my next trip to melbourne

Nice hotel handy to transport.

Posted May 16, 2015
Pros: Very quiet room with no traffic noise. Very central.
Cons: Towel rail even if put behind entry door.
Location: Excellent location with transport very close. Shops across road.
Great stay in really quiet room. One fault was no towel rails. Breakfast same every day. No fruit for cereal and scrambled egg and baked beans everyday. Would have liked more choice.

Not impressed

Posted May 12, 2015
The room was not vacuumed, someone else's fingernails were on the floor. Mold in the shower, heating duct covered in dust.

Great location and room

Posted May 12, 2015
The hotel is a short walk away from Southern Cross Station, where direct airport express buses dessert/arrive. The hotel was nice and comfortable. Staff were friendly and didnn't charge a late checkout fee when requested (til midday). We stayed in the executive queen suite which was nice and spacious and highly appreciated the kettle provided! Didn't get a chance to try out the gym or pool this time but like how it's available to guests.

Beautiful rooms for the cost.

Pros: The location
Cons: Free wifi and room service food, possibly staff as we saw the way they talked to some of the stayers.
Location: Very close to everything, 2 minute walk from a coles so that was handy. Close walk to free CBD tram line.
We were put on the second highest floor when we didn't even request it, so we were pleased about that. When we got up to our room we were really impressed by the quality of the room and we had a really nice city view also. The only negative thing was the internet, considering we had to pay for it was bad enough as free wifi is usually included in most hotels nowadays, my partner purchased a weeks worth because we figured we would be using it for 4 days. We got through one day, and they had told us we had already used it all which was definitely false, we only had his computer on the wifi and hardly used it, only for about half an hour for facebook. And the room service food was pretty terrible, we got it one night and it came up in a plastic bag in take away containers, cold. Other than that I was very happy with our stay.
