“Minimal frills room, competitive price”

This is a bit transitional from backpacker quality to a typical hotel. Don't expect frills. The main attraction is that the price is pretty reasonable by Aussie standards. The rooms are modern and a bit spartan, but the TV really is a 32" LCD. It is in Carlton and 15 min from the CBD, even less for eating places, 5 min from the Uni so not bad. I would return at the price.
