Compact short stay apartment close to the cityPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Compact apartment close to free tram route. IGA shop opposite. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: Sharp corner on bed base.
Location: City Tempo is close to the Victoria Markets and Flagstaff Gardens. The free tram route is close by and this will take you all around the city centre.
Booking and check-in went smoothly. Office staff were helpful and our daily room service was very good.

Cute apartment in the corner of CBDPosted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and good customer service
Location: Tram station, cafes, short walk to the centre of the city, and easy to get taxi
Stayed in the studio apartment. I was impressed how clean and tidy it was. Small enough for one person but nice facilities in the apartment. Extremely friendly staff who were willing to assist.

It is a nice place to have short stay like home. The location is good and close to Queen Victoria Market. It is close to the shopping arcades too.

Good view, central locationPosted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: The location, the view, the comfort of the bed, the feeling of safety, having an extra television set in the bedroom.
Cons: Although it could not be improved, there was not much space to store clothes, the bathroom and kitchen were very small.
Location: The location was near Queen Victoria Markets, Melbourne Central Railway Station and shopping centres. Trams ran nearby in Elizabeth and La Trobe Sts.
Stayed in one bedroom apartment which was much more compact than expected, but it contained all the essentials. The view was fantastic, the bedding extremely comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was ideally located in the CBD close to everything.

Nearly Perfect In Every WayPosted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: Pretty much everything.
Cons: From Room 611, the window/balcony view of a city car-park and some tall building facades in A'Beckett Street was not great. Will ask for better.
Location: Flagstaff Gardens. Queen Victoria Markets. Short walk to city "action" 10-12 mins. A 1 min walk to Latrobe St for city trams. Not far to cafes.
Well placed near Melbourne City markets. 300m walk for fresh food each day which I could cook in my room. Induction cooktop & new age microwave oven with full range of pots, pans, tools, utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Larger than average hotel fridge. Dishwasher and washer-dryer for dirty clothes. Well appointed modern room. Good bed. Excellent leather lounge chairs. Desk with leather office chair. Efficient, relatively quiet air-conditioner. A well-tuned TV that actually worked perfectly - almost unheard of in most hotel rooms. Compact, Japanese style three-way bathroom. (No bathtub was not a problem for me but I have colleagues who see a bath as essential.) Double roller blinds: one layer as light filter blinds, the other black-out blinds. A balcony about 600mm by 3.5m, but no outdoor furniture. Three fast lifts/elevators. Excellent housekeeping staff; nothing was too much trouble for them. Polite and supportive young women and men.
