great apartment complex for a short stay

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: 4 star apartment close to everything we wanted to do.
Cons: better detail to cleaning maybe
Location: All things Melbourne
We had a great three day stay for what we called a Melbourne City getaway. Apartment a bit small but good for a couple wanting east access to shopping, Vic Market, and shows. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency on the last day but the staff were great in providing assistance. Would return for a two to three night short stay.

City Tempo Apartment-Close to city

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Handy to shops, market, and transport. Good facilities in the kitchen. Security seemed to be very good. Friendly staff.
Cons: Maybe permanent draught stoppers attached to bottom of doors to cut down the whistling noise. Double check kitchen cleaning.
Location: Good location close to Victoria Markets. Plenty of variety of shopping in the city. Theatres and restaurants galore, easy walking distance.
Pros: Nice rooms, a few minutes walk to the free circle tram and Victoria Markets and about 10 minutes walk to city centre. Free trams within the city covers a large area, also City Shuttle Bus $5 to take you all over the city to the many attractions.Always seemed to be someone at service desk. Rooms serviced daily. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Staff very helpful and polite. Cons: Wind noise at times a very high whine, eased quite a bit by draught stopper supplied. Didn't happen much in 4 days though and didn't keep us awake. Sink drainer-plug still had potato peel stuck in it and ceramic cooktop needed cleaning with glass cleaner where pots had boiled over (previous guests) otherwise all was clean, neat and tidy. Obscure glass from shower wall through to lounge not great but O.K. for the 2 of us.

Great quiet location, central to everything.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Great quiet location, central to everything. I like the security, especially traveling alone. Has an ok gym.
Cons: Is just starting to age, e.g. needs painting in bathroom. Cleanliness good, not perfect.
Location: Near the Victoria Markets but Melbourne. I walk from Spencer Street (Sky-bus) to it with no problems, lots of great places to eat close-by.
Great quiet location, central to everything. Near the Victoria Markets but Melbourne is very walkable, and everything close enough. Doesn't have trams going past! I like the security, especially traveling alone. Has an ok gym, would suggest large oscillating fan next to bike and treadmill. Really helpful, nice staff. I've stayed there twice and intend staying there again. I walk from Spencer Street (Skybus) to it with no problems. Lots of great places to eat, some very affordable and some upmarket. Is just starting to age, e.g. needs painting in bathroom. Cleanliness good, not perfect. Layout of room really good. Very comfortable bed. Low noise = great sleeps.

Ottima soluzione

Location! Reasonable Price & Friendly Staff

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Close to everything within walking distance or you may take the tram if you wanna go far. only 5 mins walk to the queen victoria market which is a must go, especially for the wednesday night market. The staff are friendly and able to offer help such as making local tour booking. Room size is ok and for a short stay but the TV can have more channels, great view to the city.

Nice hotel

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, helpful staff and Foxtel TV.
Cons: Change the hard bed to one that doesn't hurt ones' back. Instructions as to how to get Foxtel channels onto the TV. Cater to customer requests
Location: Loved the location in terms of getting around the city and Queen Victoria Markets very near.
We had requested two single beds and a quiet room. We got a queen sized bed and a noisy room. The bed was extremely hard and hurt my back. The room was also very noisy. That said, the location was good, the hotel itself was clean, the room was basic but adequate and I enjoyed most of the experience because I enjoy Melbourne. The TV had Foxtel, but had no instructions about how to get the Foxtel channels to come up onto the TV.

Great location close to the centre of Melbourne

Posted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: Compact room that has a minimum of space but has everything you'd want.
Lots of good restaurants nearby, and the downtown core is at your door. The Queen Victoria Market is about two blocks away, but it is full of second rate stuff now, sadly, a lot like the old large market in Sydney (Paddys).
