“Breakfast wasn't good”

The hotel was very nice. It was in a very good location. However, do not bother with the breakfast. It is in the restaurant and they don'tcook very well. The choices for the "continental" breakfast wasn't great either so just find another place to have breakfast. Otherwise, we think the Crossley is a wonderful hotel.

We loved The Crossley Hotel Melbourne. We were impressed at the professionalism of this hotel, from cleaniness through to guidance on how to get around. The location was perfect and we would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Crossley. We found the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean, you are right in the middle of town which was convenient to get around. You also have free access to a Gym within walking distance. Even though we didn't have room service their prices were very reasonable. We had a great time.

“Good situation”

A reasonably priced comfortable hotel that has friendly helpful staff. Its greatest advantage is its position. Within walking distance of China Town, lots of interesting eating places and the CBD generally.

Overall, it was a comfortable experience, and well positioned if you want to take advantage of Chinatown. The heating was a little hit and miss, but the staff on reception were very helpful in making it work.

“Theatre Convenience”

Excellent place to stay for access to the Princess Theatre, Her Majesty's Theatre and China Town. Fabulous Chinese restaraunt opposite the hotel called "The Shark Fin Inn".

“Great location, everything we needed”

This hotel was as I would have expected for a Mecure hotel, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was not huge but was plenty big enough and even had a mini kitchen with microwave. There was no view from the room but we were right in the city centre and was perfect for a city break.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

For a reasonably priced city centre hotel I was very pleased with the Crossley. My room was huge, with a little kitchen (not sure if all rooms have that) and it was clean and modern which is not always the case in smaller hotels. The reception area was basic but the room was much better. There was noise outside my room early every morning due to trash being collected which did not really bother me but would be really annoying to late risers. The location was excellent, walking distance from everywhere and close to transport and its basically in chinatown which was great for meals.

“Opportunity Knocks”

The Crossley has the opportunity to be a hotel that provides a great place to stay while visiting Melbourne. It is very central and was walking distance to many places of interest to me. Renovating bathroom and having double glazing would give this hotel greater comfort levels. Overall I would consider staying here again if the price was right.
