Bunk beds instead on twins. Terrible mattress. No top sheets. Broken step dangerous on entry. Cornice damage and hole in ceiling. Vanity broken. Positive was very clean and shower was great.

Best for small cars
Basic room, clean and tidy. Outside paths were grubby. Parking is difficult with narrow spaces and some requiring multiple shuffling to get out of. One space obstructs the stairs to the second floor.

Without knowing the area prior to our stay, I'm thankful it was only the one night. The gentleman at the front desk, he was lovely and very accommodating to our needs. I didn't like that the room had no crockery or cutlery, it was an inconvenience having to go downstairs to get what we needed every time we wanted to eat/drink, BUT with the area being the way it is, I can understand the reasons behind this. There was a woman going off at the manager/owner late at night, clearly off her face on drugs, this wasn't great for us or my children having to listen to. Then at midnight, other people were ridiculously loud, having zero consideration for others staying here (Tuesday night, not a weekend). I couldn't wait to leave the next morning. Highlight - beds and pillows were comfortable with the minimal sleep we did get.

Would have rated higher if the doors were not leaky. Had to prop chairs againsr the door to prevent drafts. The bathroom was surprisingly good...recently updated to high standards.
