great hotel in the heart of the cityPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: the location, the staff and the room was great
Cons: maybe instead of bar soap they could put in liquid soap
Location: refer above
Great hotel with very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. the Econo Lodge is located in the heart of Melbourne, close to all the best shopping spots including Tiffany & Co, the Burke Street Mall, Chanel and Versace. Dozens of great cafe's are only a minutes walk away and straight up the street is the Flinders Street Station and free city loop tram stop. Also within walking distance of the National Gallery of Victoria. great clean hotel with lovely staff.

A nice hotelPosted May 25, 2014
A unforgettable night with my family living in this hotel. One queen bed and one single bed. It also provides a microwave oven. The sofa is comfortable and room is clean.

Great clean room in a fabulous locationPosted Mar 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location is fantastic, so close to everything. The only downside to that is that the noise didn't die down until about 1am. The room was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Although the pillows could be more comfy other than that I would definitely used this place again.

very convenient , clean, comfortablePosted Mar 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very good comfortable clean room for the price. Location is great though next time I would ask for a room on the other side of the building as Swanston Street is very noisy. Reception staff was very pleasant. Good bed, pillows good and generous. Chairs were damaged , not very nice.

Comfortable room in centre of cityPosted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Convenient location, price and room comfort
Cons: However the jug didn't work and the position of power points and lack of extension leads made these difficult to utilise.
Location: This hotel is conveniently situated right in the middle of downtown Melbourne, near shops, open space, restaurants and entertainment.
Whilst this hotel had few out-of-room frills, the room itself was surprisingly comfortable. It was clean with lots of hot water and a comfortable bed. It featured a microwave, jug for tea/ coffee, air conditioning, bread/ butter/ jam & toaster for complimentary light breakfast, iron & ironing table.
