Voyage personnel avec mes 2 filles adultes.Posted Jan 29, 2015

Excellent and enjoyable stayPosted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: I like the service from the staff, the room itself, the balcony, and the in-room facilities including the washer/dryer.
Cons: Based on our two day stay I do not have any negative feedback.
Location: The location is good, nice and central to plenty of cafes and shops
After a last minute decision to stay on in Melbourne, we booked this room at an excellent rate. We arrived early for check in, and the gentleman at the front desk was incredibly obliging and handled the rush of people with absolute ease and brilliant service. He found us a room that was ready without hesitation. When we got to the room itself it was fantastic. Fresh, clean with a big, comfortable bed. The toiletries from L'Occitane gave a feeling of luxury. We had a minor technical issue with the TV and after calling the front desk desk they had graciously set us right within 30 seconds. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great spotPosted Jan 28, 2015
Cons: Bathroom cupboards
Location: Close to CBD and restaruants
Was welcomed by the friendly staff. Very close to china town and all the restaurants around. Fairly quiet area located in a Lane. The hotel itself is clean, the little two plate burner is adequate for breakfast if wish to use. The bathroom lacks bench space for a lady to lay out makeup and gear. No drawers to put stuff in. Also there is only 1 lift so the wait for the 13 story ride usually was a delay. Nothing that would be a drama or enough to complain about. Overall would recommend for short stays. The price was reasonable.

Comfortable stay in convenient locationPosted Jan 27, 2015
We enjoyed our stay at Fraser Place, mainly because of its convenient location in the north-east part of the city centre (very close to Carlton as well), and the comfortable room with well-equipped kitchenette, which we used each day. It was great to be able to prepare our own breakfast, and have the facilities to cook or eat a takeaway in our room. The room was more than big enough, with a very comfortable king size bed - we slept very well. It was also very quiet (we were on the 11th floor). The bathroom was good - clean and with nice toiletries to use. The only two problems we noticed were (1) the wifi didn't work properly (not a big problem for us), and (2) some parts of the room could have been in slightly better condition (e.g. curtains falling off rail, balcony doors dirty, some mould in shower) - but overall the condition of the room was very good, so we didn't worry about these small things.

Good location average roomPosted Jan 27, 2015
Cons: Cleanliness of rooms, larger lobby
The room smelt a bit of cigarettes although it is a non smoking hotel. Being on a lower floor my room had an unfortunate position with windows opening onto a brick wall. Overall it was OK but I wouldn't stay there again

Nice apartment hotel central to the CBDPosted Jan 26, 2015
Fraser Place was a good choice. It had everything we needed. It is close enough to everything we wanted to see and do, including the Australian Catholic University and the cafes in Lygon Street, as well as all the CBD amenities such as the trams, the NGV and St Patrick's Cathedral.

Nice, clean hotel in CBD near Melbourne CentralPosted Jan 24, 2015
Loved our stay here for the tennis open. Clean and new facilities. Very close to free trams that go in every direction in CBD. Helpful staff. Shopping at Melbourne Central, food on Lygon, tourist shops on Swanston, few minutes tram to Fed Square. Close to touristy locations, but quiet at night. Would stay again.

Convenient for the Aust OpenPosted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Convenient and at the right end of town. Half a block to Exhibition Street and follow your nose to the tennis. Lots of nearby restaurants.
Cons: Most of the shortcomings are inherent eg apartment design, a single lift. Being more generous with the crockery and cutlery would be a start.
Location: Convenient for the tennis, trams and lots of nearby restaurants including Chinatown, the Greek quarter, etc. Short walk (downhill) to the shops.
First time staying at Fraser Place - picked out from Expedia. We often take an apartment for a few days when we travel to Melbourne and did so on this occasion for the first few days of the Australian Open (tennis). Fraser Place was on a par with other places we have stayed at although the Studio Apartment lacked the roominess of most of the others (usually one bedroom) for the equivalent cost. It had all the expected facilities although they provided only two of everything (2 spoons, 2 plates, etc). In the other hand there would have been more than a dozen coat hangers in the closet. The ensuite bathroom was right along side the bed separated only by a sliding glass door. The ONE lift sometimes was slow.

Close to transportation.Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: The service by the staff was excellent. Friendly and interested .
Cons: The rooms need to be checked for carpet cleanliness.
Location: Great location to walk to Little Italy for fantastic meals as well as many historical and interesting places of interest.
First time in Melbourne on our own. Hotel in excellent location ... Close to everything.

Good for the price, walking distance to most placePosted Jan 19, 2015
Overall worth the money, walking distance to all the tourist areas unless your seriously unfit. Entrance is on sort of a back alleyway which is strange
