“Great for the football”

The Hilton is a great hotel to stay at for attending the football. It is a leisurely walk into the city or you can take a tram right outside the front door. They also have a taxi service at the front door. Don't expect the taxi drivers to take you into the city, they will come up with all sorts of excuses as why they can't, the real reason is they don't get enough fare from the trip. The staff were wonderful at the Hilton, concierges were always very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would certainly recommend staying at this hotel.

Best staff i have ever experienced.Amazing and made you feel so special. Rooms nice and bed and pillows so comfortable. Great views and wonderful location to all sporting venues. So far my favorite place to stay in Melbourne. Do yourself a favour and be spoilt.

“Good hotel, but very very expensive internet”

The hotel is great. The only thing that is very annoying on any Hilton Hotels is the internet which is basically the most expensive internet connection on the planet.

“Returning Next Week”

This hotel has a very nice feel about it. The staff are all friendly and always have a happy smile. We were on the 10th Floor and the room was so quiet. We had ordered snacks for arrival one a cheese platter and one various dips and nibbles,two of us struggled to eat them as they were so big. Lovely fluffy towels and a great king bed-so comfy. Now comes breakfast-what a selection It would be a year or more since we have stayed at the hotel and they have improved the Gallery restaurant where you have breakfast. It seems bigger & brighter and the new carpet is amazing just the colours to get you started for a happy day. Staff now are pleasant and attend to all your needs and the coffee is great. Tram stop almost outside the hotel makes it easy to get around or taxis right outside the hotel entrance.

We stayed at the Hilton on the Park for four nights and found it excellent. We found the location very handy as it is across from the gardens and for people who like walking was only a 10 minute walk to town. The hotel was really quite and highly recommend staying there if you want no city noise from trams, bars etc. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The full breakfast was fantastic! We will be staying there again.

First time at Hilton and the Park and very happy with our stay. The front desk staff were attentive and polite. The hotel was busy due to the public holidays and King Tut Exhibition being held at Melbourne Museum yet were given two rooms next to each other at the 19th Floor with views of the Fitzroy Gardens. The hotel has good location, close enough but not right at the centre, quiet and nicely maintained. The shower is quite strong and the toiletries are adequately provided. We'll definitely stay at this hotel as the need arises and recommend it very highly.

“Excellent Hotel in Melbourne”

I arrived to the Hilton on the park during the Easter and they helped me to do an early check-in. The room had a nice view of the MCG, the bed and pillow were clean and very comfy. The breakfast was quite good, they provide you with many options to choose from. The hotel is probably 10 to 15 min walking from Flinders Station, so it is fairly close to the city center. I would stay again in this hotel.
