“Impressed”
Could use softer beds, and toilets flush a little slow; but everyone at the hotel was amazing, and the service was fantastic!
“Nice Hotel, great location and service”
Stayed here for a short business trip. Don the concierge was fantastic help, incredibly nice and very professional. Food was pricey. Location next to the MCG and the huge Fitzroy Gardens park right next door was great. We even walked to Federation Square and had a great time walking around the city from the hotel.
“Good hotel, but very very expensive internet”
The hotel is great. The only thing that is very annoying on any Hilton Hotels is the internet which is basically the most expensive internet connection on the planet.
“Great value hotel”
Hotel service and facilities are very nice, but need some distance to walk to the city, there is no restaurant on neighborhood.
“Love breakfast buffet!”
Just love to go to Australia. Nice and friendly people there.
“Would stay there again.”
The Hilton on the Park is in East Melbourne next to the Cricket Club and Rod Laver Arena. If you are a runner, you can run around the Botanical Gardens easily from the hotel. It is a short walk to the downtown. The hotel itself was comfortable with a caring staff. I stayed in a room with two twin beds with a friend, and we found the living quarters quite small. The two twin beds fit in the same area as a king bed, and the bathroom was small. The pool, gym and spa are terrific, as is the breakfast. Evening dining is less than what I expected, and there aren't many restaurants for evening dining in the neighborhood. This is frustrating if you don't have a car. However, I would consider staying there again if I was to return to Melbourne.
“the average Hilton experience”
we spent three nights at the Hilton, it's a older but very well maintained hotel with all the usual amenities of a 4*+ hotel. Immediate proximity to city center and tram and subway station. Hotel offers an underground car park which is pricey but comfortable as every other spot around the building is limited payable parking too. the 7eleven store at the next block comes in handy if you want to avoid the typical minibar prices. breakfast buffet was excellent. we didn't use any other services. Internet was too expensive. In case we can score an equally attractive rate again, we'll certainly return.
“Excellent in all respects”
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The hotel location is ideal, adjacent to a lovely park and across from the Melbourne Cricket Field and Rod Laver Sports complex, and very close to restaurants, cafe's and Flinder's Station, a major transit hub. It is on a major trolley line for convenient local transportation. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating and the included breakfast was excellent.
“Great hotel”
Accommodation, room service, customer service and restaurant were all of a very high standard.
