It was more basic than I hoped for the price. Mini bar disapointing, no biscuits, sm. amt tea and coffee and the rest terribly expensive - $4 for a small Mars Bar!! The wine was pricy at $32 a bottle so we left this well alone! Bathroom only 1 small towel each and shampoo, etc for 1 person. Room service, no napkins given, food average (pizza's were tasteless stodge). Also the hotel deduct $10 from your credit card on check in and don't tell you this (apparently it is reimbursed after 5 days....bad practice I think!) Our spare blanket was in the chest of drawers and smelt musty, not sure when it was last washed, so needless to say we didnt use it. The room itself was clean and comfortable and quiet, and the location perfect for Rod Laver/MCG purposes. I found the reception staff quite unfriendly, when I asked for a earlier cab than what we booked, he didn't act on it, and didn't feedback if he had done this. Needless to say, the taxi didnt come early as we had requested.....not good customer service! So we would stay again, but hope the hotel improve in some areas.
