My stayPosted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: The air conditioner and the proximity to where I needed to be
Cons: The staff
Location: I was taking three courses at the backpackers hostel across the road which was wonderful. It is also close to the Queen Vic market which is great
The clerk gave me the wrong key to the wrong room so I had to rush upstairs and move all my belongings which was very inconvenient. then I asked her to arrange a late check out for the following day which was fine. But when I checked with the night clerk the arrangement had not been made on my card so I had to go over it again. Otherwise my stay was very pleasant and all I required.

Close to the Markets. Lack of cleaning of the roomPosted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: locality to the markets and the city shops.
Cons: Cleaning of the rooms.Lack of communication from the Asian workers who can't speak English.
Location: The markets, restaurants, shops, trams and the inner city experience.
It was OK. Pretty central to the trams and the shops. Not bad for a budget hotel.

My second stay and just as good as the first.Posted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: Quiet, clean and handy to transport and the Queen Victoria Market also local Pubs to visit like The Drunken Poet and Royal Standard.
Cons: No improvement required for my type of stay.
Location: Very close to all the Queen Victoria Market action and plenty of local Pubs to visit like The Drunken Poet and Royal Standard. Trams only a block away
Stayed for 3 days this time and travelled by tram to hospital each day with ease.

Not what we thought. Nothing like the pictures.Posted Oct 16, 2014
The room was very average and small. Walls dirty and outside corridors had smell. Bathroom fixtures loose. Security was very good. You get what you pay for. Building construction noise early mornings.

Unrested from poor nights sleep.Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: The staff were friendly and the location quiet.
Cons: Definitely new beds.
Location: Close to Victoria markets. Handy to trams, restaurants and Seven Eleven store.
Our room had new carpet which was great but it had quite an intense smell, however once having been in the room for five minutes or so the smell wasn't as obvious. However the bed was very uncomfortable, with springs poking into our backs it is definitely time for new beds or a good thick topper.
