First room I checked into had the smell of mould, a previous guests pringles lid left on the seat (one can only assume the room was not cleaned and vacuumed), fluff on the ground, a dirty bath mat and the bathroom toiletries was already opened. As the hotel reception was only around till 8pm, I had to make do with the situation and the next morning asked to change room and told them the situation.
I was then moved to a different room where there were 2 single beds instead of the 1. I rang and they sent their team to come up and redo the bed. Very little care was taken in the process
It's cheap and the place is very very average. I wouldn't stay there again, even given the price point as the overall experience did not live up to the 'expectation' of what I was going to get for this priced hotel.
Having said that, it's fair to say that not everyone has these bad experiences with an unclean room. Just don't set your expectations too high and remember that it's a budget friendly stay
