Good experience and value for money.

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Staff were pleasant and helpful. Great location. Good self service laundry. Nice touches, such as the provision of slippers and items in bathroom.
Cons: Issue with the lifts, being on the 19th floor at times we had to wait up to 5 minutes for lift to arrive.
Centrally located just off Latrobe St between Victoria Market and the Circular Tram. Suited our needs as a party of two couples, though one of the two bedrooms did not have any windows which was a little claustrophobic. However this was necessitated by the lounge being situated for the view. Kitchen well equipped. Very clean apartment and serviced every day. Staff were very happy to assist with any requests.

Comfortable, well-designed room

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Room, closeness to transporation.
The lobby is small and unimpressive, but my room was clean, comfortable and very nicely designed. The location was close to several trolley lines, including the free circle trolley.

Neat hotel in good position.

Swift check in and easy cark park, $22 a night. Neat and modern 2bedroom apartment. Great shower. Comfy beds. Great for 2 adults 2 kids and baby. Baby slept in cot in lounge/dinning/kitchen. Pool was warm and clean looking. Downside, Window blinds shabby and bent, not exactly block out and unfortunately fairly dusty rooms. Felt a bit unloved. Extra points for fulfilling my request for quiet room high up away from lifts (4th floor, but was high enough for minimal road noise). Overall affordable and would stay there again.

Good location.

The Pegasus is a nice hotel with a cool view and a great location - walking distance to nearly everything in the CBD including Chinatown and the Queen Victoria Markets. There's also an IGA across the street which definitely came in handy. My only issue is that they required you do all of your dishes and clean the kitchen prior to leaving. They didn't inform us of this either - luckily we read the fine print on a little paper in the room, otherwise they would have kept our security deposit over a couple of coffee mugs.

Pegasus apart'otel

Posted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: Firmer mattresses please.
Location: Good location near to the free (circle) tram and tram number 55. Good (free) tram system in CBD.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good facilities in the apartment. The pool was closed three days that we were there, but staff discounted the car parking in compensation... Very impressed. Quiet to sleep at night, good family holiday.

Improve on hospitality

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: Pretty good location
Cons: Staff at reception should be friendlier and courteous. Room could be a bit more comfortable configured, and the musty/damp smell needs to be addressed
Average experience considering the price charged for new years eve...

Excellent location.

The hotel is very convenient. We had a car so parking was fast, easy and priced reasonably with others we checked. Good to have their own underground parking. The room (2 bedroom) was small but it worked well for a family of four. Apartment was clean and suited our needs for a two night stay. Would stay again if in Melbourne.
