There is nothing more disgusting than arriving at a hotel only to discover you are staying in someone else's dirt. The filthy carpets in the hallways are just the beginning of the horror. The outside of the door to my room was covered in greasy dirty finger prints, I was almost afraid to touch the keypad and enter the code to open the door. Once inside the carpets clearly hadn't been vacuumed, the ceiling lights did not work and there were blackened chunks of food debris inside the toaster. The crockery had brown water marks. I returned to reception to complain and ask to be moved to another room. The desk was locked and the emergency housekeeping moblie number went unanswered. I left a message, but my call was not returned. I called the quest 1800 number who were also unable to contact management.
