Good serviced apartment in excellent location.

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: We particularly liked he good location of the property and the helpful staff who organised us with myki cards for travelling around the City.
Cons: The carpets and kitchen units are beginning to show some signs of wear and tear. Kitchen scissors would also be useful in the utensil drawer.
Location: We particularly enjoyed the close proximity to the parks and beach where we could walk each day. There was a great choice of restaurants on Chapel St.
The apartment is conveniently placed for bus and tram stops to the City Centre and only eight minutes walk from Prahan train station. Shops and restaurants are also nearby on Chapel Street, which is a ten minute walk away, and Prahan Market is worth a visit. Albert Park and Fawkner Park are only ten minutes away from the hotel and St. Kilda Beach about a fifteen minutes walk. The apartment itself was quite spacious, comfortable, well equipped and cleaned on a daily basis. Towels were changed regularly and there was plenty of hot water available at all times. The fully equipped kitchen and separate laundry facility were also extremely useful. Staff were very helpful and courteous and quickly replaced the iron when it stopped working. All in all we spent eighteen pleasant days at the hotel without any problems.

Clean, tidy, but basic.

Room big and clean. Staff very helpful, but attention to detail in room lacking eg room phone not working, and no batteries in TV remote. However, it is a good budget stay on Prahan.

Good hotel if you just need somewhere to sleep

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Good position
Cons: Seriously needs some maintenance
Location: Great location close to Chapel Street shopping and nightclubs
Hotel was good for our requirements, just somewhere to get changed and sleep as we were out all day and went out at night as well. In serious need of a refurbishment, bathroom cabinet had two big chunks of lminex off them about the size of a slice of bread and you could see the particle board which looked dreadful. Bedroom door was also damages and had a piece out of it. Bed was comfy, it was fairly cheap which was appropriate. Overall I would recommend it to someone if they were hardly going to be there or just for overnight but not nice for a holiday.
