Great Hotel with a fantastic location

Pros: See above
Location: See above
We had a great experience from the moment we walked in. We were upgraded to Business class, and were treated liked a valued customer. The location was perfect as it was in the city but not right in the hustle and bustle, so it was nice and quiet. Having the park opposite was great and the train and trams almost out the door was perfect. The food we had was good and at a reasonable price.

Melbourne Flagstaff

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Service
Cons: Parking rate Air conditioning
Location: Ian Potter Centre
Arrived at 10:00 PM and parking was closed. No choice but to use valet service. The reception was very polite and provided the service at the same rate as self service. However the parking rate was still very expensive. The view was of a construction site over which the hotel obviously has no control but nevertheless must be considered when booking. We checked in during winter and the room was too warm and the air conditioning was not in operation. The window do not open so no way to cool the room.

Central to all our needs.

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Cons: Nothing, it was everything and more than we expected!
Location: Close to the circle tram. Close to Victoria market. An easy walk to most things.
We arrived early, 12.00 pm. We just wanted to store our bags so we could look around the city. To our delight was told a room was ready and we could go up. Everything was perfect in the room. Beautiful bed linen, spotlessly clean, an assortment of shampoo, body lotion etc in the bathroom. A good nights sleep on a very comfortable bed, very quiet. Went down next morning to the HQ Resteraunt. We had a continental breakfast, so much to choose from, very enjoyable! The staff were welcoming and very pleasant. Will definitely return.

Really well located hotel with excellent staff.

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Location, staff and facilities.
Cons: Some extra shelves or flat space in the bathroom to cater for spreading out on a longer stay.
Location: Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens is right next door to the Victoria Markets, close to tram lines and within quick walking distance of downtown Melbourne.
We had a one bedroom suite which was well appointed, quiet and well laid out. A few small things we asked to be attended to (e.g. squeaky bathroom door) were fixed with maximum courtesy and minimum fuss. The bar and restaurant provided good fare at a reasonable price, with excellent and knowledgeable staff. We were most impressed with the staff of Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them and they were extremely helpful and so courteous. The location of this hotel is great; overlooks the lovely Flagstaff Gardens, is close to Vic Markets and is close to the action in the CBD and trams but out of the traffic craziness. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Good hotel for staying in Melbourne City

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Cons: No parking and the small space at the front for valet service was hotly contested by taxis and buses.
Location: Short walk from Queen Vic Markets
Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location for central Melbourne and only a 10-15 minute walk from Docklands.

nice hotel close to queen victoria market

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: cleaned n comfort.
Cons: would be better if the room slipper to be included as complimentary instead of paying for one.
Location: Queen Victoria Market, excellent for all kinds of varieties food, vege, n clothing, n also sourvenirs.
The first impression when u look at the hotel from the outside is look dark as the street lights looks dim. But once u stepped in , the front lobby is bright , i was greeting by a smiling lady at reception, The room is cleaned n the bathroom is sparkling white not a sign of stained around. V nice n cleaned room but the bed is slightly abit small. Overall, i would recommend for friends, n would definitely come again .

Great location, great spa but poor night's sleep.

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: The great location, a complimentary one hour late check-out and generally good services from most of the staffs.
Cons: Fix the problem of the aircon so clients can rest/sleep. With the high cost of the room, there should be at least complimentary bottled water given
The hotel was conveniently located in the city center, with easy access to local transports. However, did not get much sleep at nights and rest during the day due to the air conditioner constantly making a loud buzzing sound every 5-10 minutes all through 24 hours. Despite having called the reception reporting the noise on my very first night, I got no offer remediation either in form of fixing the noise the next day or offer of alternative room or earplugs, instead I was met with disinterest and advised to put in a complain to the building owner or something along the line.
