Well situated. Comfortable rooms. Staff are pleasant and professional. The lifts are very slow. We have stayed in lots of hotels in Australasia on our trip and this is the only one that doesn’t offer a buffet breakfast, only a order from the menu one.This was a surprise and disappointment. The local cafes benefitted from our custom then.

This is a safe place to stay, however, it needs some TLC and investment to freshen it up. Staff are fantastic, customer service is excellent. This place is ok for adults, I'd be a little hesitant of bringing younger children to stay here though.

Situated right in the middle of St Kilda easy access to the beach many bars and restaurants and in walking distance to the Palais for live concerts. Great friendly staff. Being able to park under the hotel a wonderful bonus

This is a good hotel option for St Kilda. It's in the middle of everything, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. It's a short walk to the Palai Theatre. It's a bit run down, but it's quiet and clean. Four of our powerpoints didn't work, and the internet didn't work the first day and was really slow the second. All in all, though, it's a good place to stay.

Didnt like the fact that the room had no microwave or anything to cook with even though it was expensive to stay but did not have the facilities to do wat we needed to do unfortunately

It was different to what we have stayed in very small and bathroom shower is in the bath hard to get into for older people or with a disability the aircon was leaking water.

Room was nice and clean. With a sort of homey feel. Parking was easy. Would be good if when checking in they told you how to use the lift. Had other guests tell us. Which they were told by the cleaners. Lift is a little slow and makes you feel like its going to stop but it works

Way too expensive for a run down hotel! Very disappointed, staff were friendly on arrival and had no issues with them. Lift is the scariest lift i have ever been in! Bounces and feels really unsafe. View from bedroom was of other rooms with mattresses sideway over windows and mess. On arrival bathroom smelt like someone had just taken a dump!! Can hear people talking through the walls all night long got woken many many times through the night This place needs to be shut down and refurbished!!

Found it to be very dated and not as clean as a motel room should be. Staff not very friendly. A staff member in the cafe could not understand English which makes it hard to take coffee and breakfast orders.

Only good thing was that it’s close to all the restaurants and bars. Other than that I wouldn’t stay again. Overpriced and dinghy.. I’m a gold member with Expedia and I’m supposed to get a room upgrade if it’s available. Multiple different sites showed availability yet the staff tried to say it wasn’t. I asked what would happen if I booked it and they claimed it would “bounce back” and not allow me too. It was not a nice stay at all.

Friendly staff, but…. Cobwebs on lights. TV did not work properly. No plug for sink. Bar shut in my face at 6pm Sunday. Old and slow lifts. Stained carpets. No outside window. Overpriced for what it is.

Very comfortable bed, helpful staff, nice breakfast in the hotel cafe. Fairly basic but nice enough place to stay, a nice bakery around the corner and a quick walk over to the beach.
