Walked through the door of my room and was amazed. One of the most beautiful hotel rooms (apartments?) I've been in. I only had a view of Flinders lane, but that's okay, I was there for business. Bit of a dodgy area but no more than most CBDs at night. I had very little interaction with the staff to be able to rate them. Very nice and well set up apartment - would be great for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay in the Sebel Apartments during the Australian Open tennis. Great to have your own kitchen and living room. Huge bathroom. Couldn't fault it for the price.

Location was great as was Julie who was at front desk on arrival giving great hints on where to eat, what to do and best way of getting from A to B. Our biggest disappointment was that the room was not serviced during our 4 night stay, towels not changed, supplies not topped up, in fact in their booklet they had ask that guests strip the bed and do the dishes for them on their departure, this is just a money pinching by a large business, one that has me not wanting to stay at a Accor Hotel again. As a small Motel owner in NZ who has won Trip Advisor award for best service I believe that we are in the position to say that.

Cons: Check in process
Fantastic well located hotel. Good space for two young children. Only criticism would be the hotel staff management of our payment. On the day we checked in we were asked for credit card details as a deposit and we were told we could pay the balance on check out. We tried several cards all of which we knew had money on them but their card machine was not working. They insisted that we go to a cash machine and withdraw the full amount to pay for our stay on the day we checked in which was inconvenient.
