For grab n go breakfast we don’t offer chair and tables. It’s simple take away to go breakfast. Please check red roof Childress website and Expedia site. It’s already mentioned to go breakfast

Very basic hotel and room that did the job for a late-night arrival stay on a cross-country road trip. We had a pet-friendly room for our dog that was separated from the other rooms which I appreciate. The bed was not the most comfortable and made odd noises as we moved. We were only there for eight hours in the dark, so I can't speak to much about the area. The Starbucks next door was an added bonus the next morning.

The guy checking me in was very rude the minute I walked in. The way he explained the pet policy, the parking with a trailer and the to go breakfast was very rude. I finally told him I was not staying there and wanted a refund.

We werent allowed to check in on a non-refundable reservation because the man at the desk stated they only allowed one dog in the room. We have always stayed at red roof inn because they advertise to be dog friendly and don't charge additional fees for pets. We had been driving all day to reach this motel to sleep and continue on the next morning. The clerk would not let us check in nor give use a refund. We had to look for another room and pay for another room. Making us have to pay for two rooms that night. The Red Roof Inn would not cancel our reservation they just made it look like we stayed in the room therefore no refund to me. The Red Roof in Childress Tx are running a misrepresentation of the Red Roof We have adjusted stayed in Never again will we book there..beware crooked people running this motel

Hello Donna Yes, if guest bring two pets’ reservation will cancel free of cost and will not allow to stay. Each and every guest has to follow policy. This red roof inn in Childress only allows 1 pet stay free per room into specific rooms. If more than one found management will take action and will not allow to check-inn. Also, we are following red roof official pet policy which states that one pet stays free per room. Additional is up to management if they want to allow. But This Red Roof Inn in Childress don’t allow additional.You talked about refund. For your kindly information you booked through expedia so you have to call expedia to get refund because you paid to expedia and hotel has already issued refund to expedia. You have call Expedia get refund if you need your money back.This Red Roof Inn in Childress is running according to red roof policy only. If guest like you don’t read policy that not hotel problem. For your Kindly information we are not crooked people guest like you don’t read policy and blame hotel and employees but we are here to do a business. We will not allow two pets. No carpet on floor,which was nice. Multiple flies in the room. Breakfast was very simple: cold muffins and danish, fruit, and yogurt. No drinks except coffee.

Pet policy isn’t stated
Booked this stay minutes before midnight because we needed to stop driving and sleep. Website did NOT say that their pet policy only allowed one pet total. We had two dogs. Paid Theo rice of a room and never was able to check in. Had to go pay again somewhere else in the middle of the night.

Hello Bernadette Pet policy is clearly state on hotels.com In policies tab that 1 pet per room. If you don’t read policy properly that’s not Hotel problem. Yes we allow one pet stay free in specific pet room. Additional are not allow so if more than one pet hotel will not allowed to check in and reservations will be cancel free of charges.Thank you

Staff is very helpful and friendly. We brought our dog and we loved that the room they put us in was a pet room and it didn’t have carpet and was a faux wood. It was clean and comfortable. Happy to stay here again.

Ah, a Red Roof Inn with a green roof. Adequate and clean accommodations. Next to a Starbucks. The room was well stocked and comfortable.

Arrived late after driving 14+ hours. The man at the desk was very rude and specific about where we parked. It was raining and we had two kids and a dog. We pulled around back closest to our room just to unload and not get drenched, then we planned on going to our designated spot. While unloading the man at the desk called the room and yelled at my daughter (14) about us not parking where we were. She tried telling him nicely that we were just unloading closest to be out of the rain and we would move. He was very rude to her about the whole situation. On top of that the non smoking room smelled of smoke and the room wasn’t entirely clean. We booked this based off of reviews and because it had breakfast. After the experience upon our arrival, breakfast was skipped. We wouldn’t stay again, nor recommend. It’s frustrating to need a place to lay your head during a cross country move only to be met with that kind of service.

Hello BrittneyAs per you review, we check CCTV Footage with audio recorded which states that nobody was rude with to you. Front desk GSR only guide you about parking policy that car with U-Haul trailers have to be parked in truck parking area only because on backside it’s one way. So, no parking truck trailer, U-Haul trailer, U-Haul or R.V on Backside of the building. We review backside CCTV Footage which bring us to know that you moved your car with U-Haul trailer and started moving you stuff into room. After 30 Min Front desk call you first time nobody responded so he tried to call second time and young girl answer the call so front desk on told that you can’t park on backside because it will block the road and other guest need to park in front of the room. After that you moved. You said room was not clean but our all rooms are neat and clean. You are most welcome to come and check any room anytime our all rooms you will find neat and clean. If room was dirty, why did you sleep whole night. Why did you not call front desk to know about the room. You could ask for new room but you didn’t. You could ask for refund but you didn’t it mean room was okay you just got problem with parking car with trailer. Raining issue is not a major concern because our property is Exterior so all rooms are situated on the outside Entrance. Every guest has to follow parking policy. For you concern we have all recording and phone recording proof that front desk did not yell. He just performs his responsibility to inform.Thank you for your experience
