Pros: The staff and breakfast.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Great barbecue place called Central Barbecue. Also very close to the freeway.
This was my first visit to Memphis and the staff were very great about giving recommendations for places to eat. Very clean and comfortable room. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff were great. Gave good directions to places we needed to get to. Room wasn't fancy but we slept well.

Great location and price

We enjoyed our stay here, clean and really good breakfast. To get downtown there is a trolley/ bus stop just up the road. It was about $9 for a 3 day pass, the route runs down Madison avenue to downtown, takes about10 mins or less. The hotel staff are all helpful and friendly, especially Linda. This was at the end of our holiday and we found a laundrette about 1 mile up the road and took the clothes back clean. Would stay here again

Close to highway, but not close to downtown.

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: very little
Cons: bathroom fixtures, more helpful staff on site.
Location: not walking distance to downtown / waterfront, not close to any attractions, although close to highway- not easy to get to
Experienced two unexplained power outages while at hotel. Troubling as my wife uses a CPAP - sleep apnea machine...woke up twice choking / gasping as no back up generator kicked in...others got stuck in elevators Zero explanation from staff in the morning...didn't even know anything went wrong...

The hotel was just what I needed: clean, quiet and near the highway. Close enough to everything in Memphis.
