“Comfortable @ the Comfort Inn”

My experience with Comfort Inn Downtown in Memphis was an excellent first experience. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was surprisingly clean and didn't have that lower scale smell as most hotels. I would most definitely stay at Comfort Inn again.

“Right near all the action in Memphis”

We were within walking distance of Beale Street. We parked and didn't need the car until we left. Hotel was very nice. They could use more computer terminals. Wasn't able to get on .. or at least set a time limit for its use. Would definitely stay there again. Easy parking in the garage right at the hotel.

“had a blast”

The hotel staff was friendly and the check in was quick and pleasant. The parking is secure and the neighborhood was safe. The motel was a short walk from Beale St. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

“Very much impressed”

My room had been renovated recently and was very clean and comfortable. It faced the rear of the hotel and other buildings rather than the river, but the view was not completely obstructed. The exercise room/swimming pool were clean and adeequate. The expanded Continental breakfast was excellent and nicely presented. I would certainly stay there again.

“Great Hotel in the heart of downtown”

The hotel was very nice and close to many downtown attractions. The complimentary continental breakfast was fresh and well stocked. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. They also had a computer set up in the lobby with free internet service that was a nice touch, especially if you only need something quick.

“Solid Pick”

Friendly hotel staff, room in good shape, within walking distance of Beale street. Right across the street from Mud Island. The hotel was good.

“Couldn't have asked for a better stay”

My friend and I had a great stay. As soon we walked in, we were greeted by the friendliest front desk person ever. She was even kind enough to tell us places to go for fun. Ever staff member was very friendly. Even kind enough to say good morning and wish us a nice day. The location is great if you want to be walking distance to Beale Street, the Peabody, the trolley system, and many of the things Memphis has to offer. The beds were a dream. My only complaint was the tiny shower/toilet area, but otherwise, will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended. Great price, great location, and great service.

“Good downtown choice”

This is a good choice for a downtown Memphis stay. One can be closer to the Beale Street action than this, but the Main Street trolley stop is only a block away and all downtown attractions are a reasonably easy walk. My room had a nice Mississippi River view. Staff was helpful and friendly, free breakfast (a self-serve expanded continental) was decent with several extra choices available, coffee was available in the lobby 24 hours. Did not encounter noise problems. Recommended.

“Huge bathroom”

I didn't think Memphis was an interesting city, but the hotel was great. It had a huge bathroom, something which you don't find often in hotels, and the room size in general was also quite large and very comfortable. I spent two days working from my hotel room and there was plenty of space to walk around, spread out my materials, and just feel productive. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the price was very decent as well - I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Great hotel”

The hotel was great. our room overlooked the river and Mud Island with great views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the bathroom was a little cramped, but the shower was great and made up for the size. we are coming back and staying at this hotel.
