Renovating going on. Lot looks like garbage. I couldn't tell if i was in a hotel or a war zone. Pieces of Styrofoam in the pool water. Toilet keep going all my stay. Wouldn't shut off. Front desk staff had an oh well attitude. Staff said housekeeping would tale care of the pool problem when they get in. Debris all around the property from the work being done. Won't stay here again!!!

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at it was nasty and dirty and we was promised a hut tub and heated pool and we had no ice matter either not Even a snack machine either I will never stay here again

Not sure. The hotel was unkept, with vagrants and strange activity. It was so bad, my Lyft driver warned me it was not safe to stay there. Windows were broken and it looked almost abandoned. You all have to do a better job vetting these establishments. I trusted Baymont because i had a pleasant stay both times in Traverse Cityy, MI. This is unacceptable.

Hope you like cigarettes because that’s the dominant odor no matter what you book. My bags all smell like some dirty old smokers trailer. I guess they’re renovating, the building looks like It’s falling apart. Children screaming in adjacent rooms like they have no home training. My eyes burned and my nose did too. Would not stay again.

Truth be told the hotel is under construction and the front desk gave us an option to take the room or not. The room was comfortable; the staff were very friendly and professional. We were comfortable in our room. We slept very good. You will see construction all over as soon as you step out of your room. The wifi was good and the breakfast was hot - had biscuits and gravy w/ sausage. Enjoyed it very much so.

This property has homeless people hanging around, Debris all over the parking lot, had to move to different rooms due to lighting not working, and tv not working, and I’m still waiting on my deposit to be returned. it’s been a week already. The only thing that was good, was Esperanza and Josie who were accommodating.

Embarrassing to have brought our guest with us...
Very very very disappointing for a Baymont and Windham and Expedia and Hotels.com! Shame to allow this place on your itinerary. Outside trash in parkibg lot, no wifi in room, rooms snelled like smoke, ice machine not working on our floor, no AC in lobby with 100 degree outside temps, no variety in breakfast, tv said no service, toilet ran constantly, NO LANDLINE connection to call front desk due to late check in with all this going on. We were already unpacked, and undressed, late night with 2 rooms, 2 nights. Manager would not visit with us. Carpet uner sink was damp, light bulbs out. Noisy construction trucks during night hours. Winow covered with plastic, and more frustrations.. And then our receipts showed $20 less per night per room than what we paid! Should not have paid half as much as we did. WHY? We have trusted hotels.com for 20 years and the names they advertse. Did they stop providing reliable service??? This the second BAD overall motel experience in 3 months now. Any help from them?

They are remodeling the hotel and it is a disaster. Everything is outdated and there were spots in our room floor that were sticky. The breakfast was decent. The surrounding area looks like a warzone.

First let me say the manger was very apologetic and informed me after my stay that their in the middle of renovating . So after booking online through Expedia, I felt as if nothing lined up with the pictures at all , the pool was filthy for days, breakfast looked as though they recooked it on dirty grills or something, holes in the carpet , carpet sticky enough to make sound when walking, curtains dirty , dead bugs and living bugs in windowsill, toilet sticky, tub nasty with rust stains , molded walls as well as rusted poles all up and threw the pool area, and the killing part for me was waking up to the roaches having a field day in the bed sheets at night fr , then after complaining to the front desk at like 2am , I was told straight to my face “WE DONT HAVE ROACHES” as if I brought a bag of them with me , I can go on and on about the shady area and the guy that watches the pool area from the parking lot when cameras are literally in the pool area ,but I’ll end this by saying the prices aren’t discounted , it’s actually what the room are worth lol , and after all the disappointment during my fiancé’s birthday weekend , I was rewarded some points for another booking , and a five day wait added to a 3 day wait for a $50 incidental fee that was told to be refunded at the end of my stay as long as we didn’t smoke in a room that already smelt like a box of cigarettes. This hotel was not clean, anywhere. Cabinet doors were falling off, in the room and lobby. The entire facility smelled of marijuana and the hotel was loud until 3am. We did not get any sleep and checked out a day early. I tried contacting customer service for a refund but was unsuccessful.

There was roaches everywhere. Breakfast was extremely limited. We were told by the front desk worker that we can't enter the hotel through the front door. If and when we go to our rooms, we have to use the side door. It was too dark and there is no lighting on the parking lot. Rude employees.

They did not honour the booking via Expedia. They locked the door and didn't even let us in. When I told them that I had a reservation they said that rooms were not available and to contact Expedia. Expedia customer service was able to book another hotel.
