OK hotel fairly close to everything

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Even though it was close to the airport, it was pretty quiet.
Cons: Fix the elevator so that it works as all others elevators do.
Location: Beale Street, Beale Street and more Beale Street.
The elevator was not the greatest. I had to press the button several times to get it to close the doors and start moving. The stairs were MUCH faster.

Handy for Airport

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Convenient for the Airport and in a quiet area, gated security to car park.
Cons: Couldn't fault it really.
Location: Nothing to do nearby, hotel situated in what i would say is a business district, but suited our needs has we had a rental car.
Very clean and pleasant hotel good facilities, Fitness room, computer access in foyer, small bistro on site, handy when you don't want to venture out, but limited menu. Staff also very pleasant.

Very nice, secure hotel.

I enjoyed my stay , but, as a cash carrier, it should be noted through Expedia, that there is a credit card needed for a expense hold.

Nice hotel close to airport

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: The hotel is two miles from the airport.
Cons: There were beer cans in the parking lot. We were not given our wake up call so we could get to the airport on time.
Location: Nothing near but the airport.
The hotel is nice but located in a business park. It was isolated on the weekend. We appreciated the security. A wrought iron security fence surrounds the property and is opened with a room key. There was no restaurants in the area so we should have eaten prior to check in.

Memphis trip

Very nice hotel and conveniently located. Only issue was we could hear conversations from next room loud and clear. Other than that, good place to stay.

The room was very comfortable and clean. I love the little curved couch and the ottoman in the room.

Airport Hotel

Posted May 17, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the airport and value
Location: Didn't seem to be too many places around the hotel but that didn't concern us too much as we were there for one night.
Good hotel-shuttle available every half hour- good value-ate in hotel too & was good. Would definitely recommend

Great hotel.

We stayed in a 3 star hotel in NYC in the financial district the weekend before and then a 3 star hotel in Santa Clara, CA the following week. This Courtyard was by far the best and cleanest of the three. The staff was very accomodating and worked hard to give a room to accomodate an infant.

I travel a lot and this was the worst

Posted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: the staff
Location: nothing--it is in the middle of nowhere and nothing is available. the bar and restaurant closed by 10pm on a saturday night. near the airport.
To begin, the front desk clerk greeted us with an attitude and instead of saying hello, etc he rudely asked us for our ID and credit card. We were given a room in the very back of the hotel on the first floor next to the door and along the expressway so truck traffic was very loud. Cold water did not come out of the bathroom sink, instead a loud groaning noise from the pipes and lukewarm water. I had to buy a bottle the next day in order to drink with. The worst part was the toilet: it was clogged and wouldn't flush. We called for a new room but he said "NO, we are booked." I asked why there were no car in the parking lot and he said it was a tour bus. We then called for a plunger and fixed the toilet temporarily but it continued to happen our entire stay. It overflowed twice. As for the booked hotel, I called anonymously on my cell to see if they had rooms and yes, they did. The room was clean and the hotel was fine otherwise, but our room was awful and the service was horrid. I will never stay in a marriot again. If it weren't for my extra mellow husband who doesn't like to create waves, I would have complained full on in person to a manager right there.
