DISGUSTING HOTEL

Cons: TEAR DOWN THE PROPERTY WITH EXPLOSIVES
THIS PROPERTY IS DISGUSTING. ROOMS ARE FILTHY CARPETS ARE FILTHY BREAKFAST COLD AND DISGUSTING. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Quiet, comfortable, 5 star hotel.

Pros: swimming pools and hot spa/breakfast
Location: Definetly need a car, but highways are 1 minute drive away. Only 15 minute drive to Beale st Memphis. 10 minute drive to Grace land.
I was amazwd as soon as I arived. I honestly thought it was a 5 star hotel. Plush, comfortable beds, buffet cooked breakfast, swimming pool, fitness centre and spa. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Hotel grounds are very safe, and gardens very well kempt. Lots of free parking spaces. Would definetly stay here again.

Renovation Needed ASAP

Old hotel that needs a face lift. Everything is old and outdated, room chair although it was red was turning brown/black from years of use. Bathroom shower tile was in like condition. Grout was turning colors. Poor air circulation. The only room vent was on a side wall which blew in front of the window not towards the room which meant it was stuffy in the room. Housekeeping did not clean the room, simply made the bed and replaced towels.

Nice location

Pros: Location to other amenities.
Cons: Front desk staff should know which restaurants deliver in the area.
Location: Loved the Corky's BBQ Restaurant on Polar.
Good hotel. The food for the breakfast buffet isn't that great.

The hallway smelled really strongly of soap and the carpet was damp.

Please accept our apology if our housekeeping staff had recently cleaned the carpets and you found them to still be damp. Although disturbing our guests is never what we intend to do, regular maintenance and cleaning procedures must be followed to provide our guests with the most sanitary conditions. The place has a general feeling of disrepair. You'll notice it in the carpets, wallpaper, the burnt lightbulbs in the room, the A/C that doesn't work ...

No room service, the bar is only open from 5 PM to 10PM they don't allow late checkout... This hotel is located very far away from everything. I spent a fortune on Taxi's getting around the area... The television was very poor quality. I would not recommend staying there...

While we apologize if our location was not convenient to your needs, we do want to state that we are the closest full service hotel near Memphis International Airport which we offer a complimentary shuttle service for. Although our bar area may not have been open at the hours you had hoped we do have other areas open throughout the day. A complimentary breakfast buffet is served each morning in the hotel restaurant and dinner service available in our Blue Shoe Lobby Lounge. Old hotel - new brand - needs work.

Pros: Large and spacious hotel with nice outdoor areas. Room was nice.
Cons: Front desk was helpful and courteous. Other staff needs additional training. Breakfast - not enough staff to meet demands and keep dining area clean
Location: Not the best location. No good restaurants or shopping really close. Some of the people hanging out in front one night seemed "sketchy".
Stayed on a very busy weekend, so keep in mind that the staff was having trouble staying up with the demand of the large crowd. This is an older hotel that was very nice "back in the day" but has changed ownership several times in the last few years and again recently to a well known brand. I believe with time and a lot of work, this can be a very nice hotel again. But for now there is work to be done. - I said I would recommend this hotel to others - BUT only if some improvements are made. I believe with time the issues I experienced will be resolved, so at that time I would recommend. For now, I'd say "travel with caution" in mind.
