Priced little high 4 quality but the're remolding

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: THE STAFF, free wi-fi, conference room
Cons: Fitness Center, room cleanliness, fix the phone and lamp in the room
Location: Not sure. I was just there for one day for a seminar held in the hotel. Now, I did go to a Soul Fish Cafe 2 miles away that was the BOMB!
I just stayed for one night for a seminar held in the hotel. The conference room was awesome and overall my stay was comfortable. The staff were super nice and went above and beyond to help. They were all VERY nice and accommodating. The exercise room was a tad bit small for the size of the hotel (only 2 tread mills and 2 Elliptical and one bike), but they had hand weights, sit up ball, large TV, water, and towels. The bonus was FREE WI-FI. That's always nice. The room however, was a tad bit unkempt, but it appears they are renovating. The lamp switch was broken in the corner and it didn't work, the dust accumulated in that corner by the lamp was a bit overwhelming, the AC/HEAT unit was old and hard to regulate, and the phone didn't work. I could tell they were in the process of painting because half the wall was painted a different color. The bed did not have a comforter and they didn't provide one in the room. I hate to give a negative review because the people were so nice, but I just wanted to be honest. But the things I mentioned are definitely fixable and I would definitely come back after the renovations.

Nice hotel in need of minor updating.

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Free parking and wifi. Good location. Friendly staff.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated.
Location: This hotel is on a side street in a very busy part of town. There is a movie theater, grocery store, and probably 10 restaurants in walking distance.
My stay at the hotel was somewhat forgettable - which isn't a bad thing. The positives of the hotel outweighed the negatives. I stayed in a standard room with a single king sized bed. There was a reasonably sized television, desk, and a small chair with an ottoman. Parking (which was safe and plentiful) and wifi were free. There is a restaurant and bar in the lobby. I would pass on dinner in the hotel as there are better options in the area. The staff was friendly and professional. My only complaint would be about outdated features in the rooms. Everything looked and worked like it was 20 years old. There was a drip in the shower. The lights in the bathroom flickered. The AC unit was somewhat loud. The refrigerator was discolored. On the other hand, everything did work and everything seemed to be clean. This would be a great hotel if the rooms were given a bit of a face lift.

Don't go there

Posted Dec 3, 2014
The room had water damage, stains on the walls and the bed was horrible. They started to remodel the day after we arrived and the sound of jackhammers went on for 12 hours a day, starting at 7am.

This is a Hilton property?????

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Very little unfortunately. The cookies were tasty.
Cons: 150 characters is not enough. Let's just say pretty much everything could be improved. Except the cookies...did I mention that they were tasty?
Location: Location was good, and there is access o main roads and highways.
Parking: Was difficult because sometimes (good luck determining when those times will be) they like to run chains across aisles to prevent anyone from entering or leaving these aisles. Amenities: Plan on going floor to floor trying to find the ice machine that actually dispenses ice. Room: Mold in bathtub, stains (rust and ??? who knows) in commode, phone presets (i.e.: to dial front desk and housekeeping) did not work. Pillows appear to be very old and are quite uncomfortable.

The staff was very friendly. The bathroom had a little urine odor. The bedroom was clean. The overall experience was good. I would stay there again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Ask for breakfast vouchers.

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Friendliness of staff.
Cons: Please offer a complimentary breakfast option...cereal is fine.
Location: Beautiful neighborhood. Great dining options nearby.
Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Nice location. But, the breakfast procedure is confusing. I was not given any complimentary breakfast vouchers upon check-in, which resulted in a $15 breakfast bill...per person. I'm not sure what qualifies one for a free breakfast, but this is the first hotel I've been to in years that did not offer one.
