“Never Again”

I work as a Park Ranger for the State of South Carolina and traveled 0ver 400 miles to attend a wedding for a family member. I never complain about any problems that may occur at a Hotel due to the fact that I am aware of the chances for things to go wrong. I work in the same field renting cabins and Villas. It is however very disappointing that the shift manager would scold an employee trying to do her best to accommodate all the customers that were standing at the counter along with dealing with my complaints of two broken AC units. To make a long story short, we changed rooms 4 times only to end up in a room that had dog feces in a pile on the floor. This was rather disgusting and was in no way explainable or excusable.

“Extended Stay - Cordova”

Good value in a hotel. Great location and the place was clean and well-maintained. Be sure to use your own pillow though, the bedding was very poor quality. Also the breakfast was sub-standard. Overall though, good price and the conveinence is worth the minor issues.

“Down and Dirty in Memphis (Bartlett)”

Having stayed in another Extended Stay that was NOT a so-called deluxe type, I had reservations about staying at this one. But I was lured by the "Deluxe" branding, so I took a chance. What a mistake! The hotel was just plain dirty past the reception area: carpets were filthy, worn, and smelly. The mattress was far from comfortable and should have been replaced several years ago. The linens were stained and wrinkled, the bathroom cramped and dank. While I don't watch much TV, even the TV was small, archaic, and had poor sound quality. Thankfully, it was only for one night. But it was nasty enough that we got up a couple of hours earlier than planned just to get out of there. Skip the "free breakfast", it's pre-packaged doughnuts and pastries and truly terrible coffee. How does this kind of hotel property rate two and a half stars? Their corporate suits need a wake-up call. Extended Stay properties? Never again. Ever.

“Needs overhaul”

Location good, although tough to find on first go-around. Staff pleasant. Two problems - dirty/dusty throughout and three level hotel is wood and frame construction so there is little sound isolation...

“The worst hotel stay of my life”

Well to tell the whole story would be wasting more of my time. The room was extremely dirty,toilet would not flush correctly, Stains on the sheets, carpet completely worn out, heater would have to be on full blast or lowest setting, TV channels were fuzzy. The staff were not helpful they just fueled the fire.

“Look elsewhere”

Got checked in & head hit the pillow at 11pm. Got woke up by fire alarm at 11:30pm. It would not go off or no one knew how to turn it off. It was ear peircing! Went on for about 20min until Fire Dept finally got there to turn it off. Guess someone was playing arond with alarm? Had to stand outside for those 20 min in cold & wet weather since it was LOUD!! Went back to room & it went off again for another few min. Had to get up at 5am. :( Then room smelled like a smoker had been living in there 4 years! It was supposed to be Non-Smoking room. Door directly across from us had lock totally ripped off. A little disturbing looking. Scary to think why they had to do that?

“My Memphis Visit”

It was decent and I would stay there again. Although, I didn't care for room service knocking on doors at 7am. That was a bit early for that noise.

“Adequate room for one night's stay in Memphis.”

This would be a good place to stay if you had to stay a few days in Memphis. Having the kitchen appliances was a plus. Unfortunately we were only in town one night so we didn't get to utilize the appliances. Even though we had a non-smoking room the rest of the hotel had the smell of smoke even in the elevator. That was a turn-off for us. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We would stay there again.

“DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY!!!”

The room they checked us into had urine in the total so the room had a foul smell, the floor was dirty and one of the beds was unmade. The sheets were so stained they were more yellow than white. The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in, the outside appearance is deceptive.
